I believe this was my first early wake up to go out and shoot a sunrise seascape. Only a couple of weeks back we were at Narrabeen with friends. It was a late afternoon and I just could not believe the colour. I was determined to come back with my camera. That particular morning was just magic. The rain finally eased up toady…..probably because it was back to work after easter..lol / Anyway, I managed to get out after dinner. Went to Merewether Baths and because today was ‘cleaning day’ the pool was empty so I could actually get into it without getting too wet the water was just up to my knees I got a few pics before it was too dark. I am going to post 2 shots of the pump house, both have a very different feel about them and since one of the objects of this site is to actually sell art something I have not been successful with as of late… I wanted to put up both as they will probably appeal to different people…I hope!

Taken with a Canon 50D, Sigma 10-20 lens at 10mm, F11, shutter speed 1/100 second, ISO100, tweaked in Photoshop A couple of months ago I visited Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough head on the East coast of England. This is a shot near Flamborough head, I went down a path which stated no admittance which was because it was steep and missing in place. The benefit of the skirt with the wrong side of the law was a bay with no people and this lovely view!! The shot is of High Stacks, on the south side of Flamborough Head between South Landing and the Head. Please view large!!

Rota Island is a natural playground with around 3000 inhabitants and is known by many to be Micronesia’s best-kept secret / Rota (Chamoru: Luta) also known as the “peaceful island”, is the southernmost island of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the second southernmost of the Marianas Archipelago. It lies approximately 40 miles north-northeast of the United States territory of Guam. Songsong village is the largest and most populated followed by Sinapalo village (Sinapalu). In 1521, the first European to see Rota, was the lookout on Magellan’s ship Victoria, Lope Navarro. However, Magellan’s Armada of three ships didn’t stop until they reached Guam, so the first European to arrive in Rota (in 1524), was Spanish navigator Juan Sebastian Elcano, who annexed it together with the rest of the Marianas Archipelago on behalf of the Crown of Spain.
