Speckled pony foal – I believed it was a Shetland pony, as it was with its mother at the time and she looked like a Shetland pony. However, the Shetland Pony experts in the UK have emailed me to tell me there is no such thing as spotted Shetlands so there we are! ;o) All I know is I just wanted to pick up the cute critter and take him home with me. Taken at Cockington Village just outside Torquay in Devon UK. The ancient village is a real step back in time for the visitor and most of the centuries old houses have thatched roofs like this one, the Higher Lodge. Ponies and traps are available all through the Summer months for a scenic trip round the village and the friendly drivers are full of information about the historic village. I just became a godfather. / I wasn’t entirely sure what to do, so I watched the movie, looking for some helpful advice. / The kid only sleeps in a really small bed, so a full-size horse obviously wasn’t going to do the trick – and besides this one seemed much more appropriate and available.
