  • This clear pond rippled with beautiful color that I enhanced to create the impression of mosaic tiles glistening in the sun. As a lover of science fiction, the pond also had a surreal and otherworldly effect with metal structures that can be viewed as metal hands, alien faces or any projection that the the viewer perceives in his or her creative imagination. What lies beneath the surface, a provocative question for exploration of any realm? Please view this photograph in the larger format for the full impact of the beautiful colors, luminesence and reflections.

  • My attempt at being creative….. A ripple in my pond after a catfish jumped… enhanced in PS.

  • The abstract, painterly feel in this one is particularly appealing to me, and I am hoping it is to you too. :) (There was very minimal processing done to this one – it’s almost right out of the camera.) Please take a look at my Etsy listing for this photo, and purchase a metallic print not available on RedBubble!

  • No matter how many times you look at this photograph, you’ll never get the perspective correct. ;-) If anyone can nail exactly how it was created (and if anyone can, it would be someone in here!), I will offer up a garland of Andorian Fire Flowers. Hint: the water wasn’t cold. Good luck! The shot is indeed impossible since the path would have to go into the water, where I’d be standing to take the shot. Not too likely. / ;-) “Water ripples” is the free Redfield plugin at was added to the unside-down image which was tweaked to look slightly distorted by refractive water. Congrats to bubblehex08 for the great detailed guess. :-D
