  • I was given an extension tube from this old guy a few weeks ago and I only just now figured out to use it. I’m amazed by the results but now want a real macro lens, I found it very dificult to use the tube.

  • This was a flower that I captured while I was walking towards the spillway of Lake Lewisville Dam. I had waited till it dryed out a little from all the rain. The trail was extremely grown up, and most of the growth was enjoying the rain that had flooded our lake. The water had returned back to below the spillway, but you could tell it had raged through the creek.

  • This bee was flying from flower to flower as bees do, but he caught my eye as he was extremely yellow! I think he must be an old bee as his wings are tattered & instead of storing the pollen on his legs, he just covered himself in it!

  • Skylands Manor, Ringwood, NJ

  • This bee flew in just as I was about to take the picture of the flower. Taken outside my home June 2008. MY BUBBLESITE

  • ‘Tis the season here in the mountains….pine pollen season….with the slightest touch, the pine cones release a burst of yellow pollen into the air. While walking at Lily Lake, the winds came up and on the mountainsides arose a yellow haze of pine pollen….it was amazing to see…..and the sneezing begins….. :-) Taken at Lily Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

  • This was a painting that I did last Spring when the air was full of pollen – and I was continually sneezing!!! This is a Jamaican Bumble Bee cruising through the land of magic, throwing his pollen all around, not worrying where it hits!!!! (the bugger got me!!)
