This rose bloomed into mid Autumn due to the mild weather, the change in seasons shows in the leaves, which I feel adds to the character of the rose giving a poignant feel to it. !!

This was a little notice board left hanging in the Church. I was surprised to find this as everything else that had hung on the walls (The Stations, crosses etc) were gone. I’m not sure exactly when that little card was placed in the bottom left, but I assume thats were prayer topics and prayer requests were put. Its quite a poignant one to be left there. I get the feeling that maybe why no one has taken the board down.
I happened to catch this touching scene seconds before my cousin and grandmother turned to pose for the camera. They seem to be enjoying some great secret, don’t they?

In the deep stillness of America, we find beauty in that which has been abandoned; that which has become a part of the earth surrounding it.

This photo of my two dogs, Mikey and Molly is a great / example of the quote, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” / Viewing their intimate and loving relationship is a model / for humans who often seek sensation and infatuation / rather than genuine love that grows over time. One of my / favorite jazz artists is Nina Simone. Her album, Baltimore / is not as well known as many of her other brilliant / recordings. This beautiful song, “A Little Love” / is a profoundly sensitive lyric about the growth of / love between two sensitive and / sentient beings whose souls touch in this gentle and / poignant photograph. Please view this in the large format. A little love that slowly / grows and grows / Not one that comes and goes / That’s all I want from you / A sunny day with hopes up / to the skies / Not a day that comes and / dies / That’s all I want from you Don’t let me down, oh show / me that you care / Remember when you give, you / also get your share / Don’t let me down, I have / no time to wait / Tomorrow might not come, / when dreamers dream too late A little love that slowly / grows and grows / Not one that comes and goes / That’s all I want from you / A sunny day with hopes up / to the skies / Not one that comes and dies / That’s all I want from you Don’t let me down, oh show / me that you care / Remember when you give, you / also get your share / Don’t let me down, I have / no time to wait / Tomorrow might not come, / when dreamers dream too late A little love that slowly / grows and grows / Not one that comes and goes / That’s all I want from you Nina Simone / Album: Baltimore / Song: A Little Love / Recorded; 1978 For those who do not know this song, Nina accompanies / herself on the piano. I believe it is on YouTube and I / need to learn how to pair my lyrics with video. My / head is an Ipod without speakers.
I did not want to let you go / Like an unmapped land / Away But as I had patience for your / Words / You had nothing right to / Say I …
When longing thoughts of a drifted love / Come into your mind to play / Remember to hold your hopes at bay / And love him away / When lost memories of a lover’s smile / Begin to mold your heart as clay / Remember the dreams his lips could not say / And love him away / When golden days spent loving a man / Find their way into your thoughts today / Remember the man lives in yesterday / And love him away
Isn’t it?
GET up and out of bed. / Get some coffee for your head. / YOUR ship’s come in, the dock is just a block away. HEAD straight for pier ei…
Just for y’all.
