This was done as a small “in between” thing while taking breaks from revision. My friend Coolness Bears (who has an account here but doesn’t actually make any art =P ) suggested I draw a teddy bear on a balloon. So here it is! / As always, if any tweaks are needed, let me know! Kind of reminds me of my Freedom drawing (girl on a balloon), which I hadn’t thought about at first. Done from scratch in Illustrator. Big design available here. /

A photograph of my puppy cuddling her Mr. Bun Bun while my mother was undergoing radioactive iodine treatment. This photograph was for her since she couldn’t see her baby for a week or two during the treatment :(

This drawing I made for a short story in a children’s magazine (though it won’t get published). It’s about a girl who is having her birthday party, but because her mother is ill, she couldn’t invite any of her friends. So instead, she’s having the party with all her plush animals. =) I tried to go for a different technique with this one, namely digital colouring, something I hadn’t properly done in ages (normally I just do some touch-ups). I scanned in my pencil drawing and then coloured it in Photoshop. I do believe I need some more practice with this, but it didn’t end up looking too bad, I hope. =P

/ / I’ve gone a bit crazy with elephants lately, and after seeing little Luk Chai the baby elephant at Taronga Zoo, Sydney over the last couple of days, i just had to create another version, i hope you like him… in honour of ‘Luk Chai’... welcome to the world Little Prince… A pencil drawing coloured digitally :) This would make a nice welcome card for a new baby boy, nursery, children’s room, or a nice birthday gift and all occasion card or print for anyone who loves and collects elephants
