  • Great friends, great fun !!!!!!- the colors represent happiness. A natural portrait of friends having fun in the sun :]

  • Here’s one of my oldest son at the beach right before a storm.. I love the cloud formations.

  • I did this piece very quickly . It was drawn at A3 size. Scanned in and colored at 600dpi. It’s full of detail and includes dome of my favorite things in the world around me. I’ve entered it into a local exhibition competition. There was no theme other than giving designers a chance to express themselves anyway they want to. The greatest and most perfect designs are all around us. The animals, the plants, the mountains…everything that is naturally formed. These are the things I admire the most. The beauty of fauna and flora, the dead or alive. Perfect and not by design…it just is. Play and Worship

  • Here is a photo of my little girl with her best friend still from my very girly series. I really liked the finished photo because to me it shows that a friendship would be the same 100 years ago as it is today.. Quite timeless so I would love to hear some feedback :o) Basia

  • Here is a photo of my youngest two. My little girl was cold at the beach so her bigger brother gave her cuddles to keep her warm and I was there to catch it.

  • I liked this image of my little girl as, to me it’s a simple and dreamy capture of childhood where it’s always happy, uncomplicated with bright colours, fluffy white clouds and sparkly light.

  • Ink, some graphite and charcoal on paper. Robert Johnson was truly the grandfather of blues. Inspiring such musicians as Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters and the Rolling Stones. His music has deeply affected my love for blues and music in general. My portrait of Robert is a small tribute to the amazing body of work he produced. Through every layer of pencil and every stroke of my hand, I tried to capture the essence of Mr. Johnson onto paper. I depicted every detail in my portrait, from the old curtain hung behind him to the design on the blanket he sits on. Each pinstripe was painstakingly reproduced as well as the weathering on his guitar. My desired end result is that you will feel like you are looking at an aged photo of Robert Johnson. I believe when you truly study this piece you will hear his music and see the richness of his character portrayed in through my pencils. • This image was printed using liquid light. / This is a silver-based sensitizer for applying on any surface, exposing by an enlarger, and processing in conventional chemistry. It is virtually the same emulsion found on ordinary photographic paper, but in a liquid form and can allow the emulsion to be coated on a wide range of surfaces. / Here I have applied the liquid light using a brush to scrap metal and once it was dried exposed it with the enlarger. It was then developed, fixed and washed similar to any photographic paper. / The final piece of scrap metal was then stuck onto painted pine to be displayed. / The image you see before you is then a digital photograph of the displayed piece. The original photograph used to create this piece can be found here Some more images created using liquid light

  • [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. • oldschool Easter bunny sitting on an empty beach, Crete 2009 FEATURED IN REDBUBBLE ART&PHOTOGRAPHY May 2009

  • Photograph taken with Sony Cybershot early this morning – 20 May 2009. Other than cropping for redbubble the picture is as ‘real’ as it gets, ‘untouched’ and ‘as is’. The metal man had arrived and was reinforcing Alkatraz aka ‘The Den’ as my pooches have become little Houdini’s amongst other things. The sound of the drill scared them and they came to me for protection – being the evil mother that I am I left them sitting and tried to catch the moment. To get all six in one place and not chewing, fighting, digging or eating was simply beautiful. The title is inspired by a Nusrery Rhyme that my Nannan used to ‘play’ with me ….it fits perfectly … There were six in a bed / And the little one said / “Roll over, roll over” / So they all rolled over / And one fell out There were five in a bed…. / Lyrics courtesy The Teachers Guide ACRYLIC ART CALENDARS CARDS POETRY PHOTOGRAPHY – ANIMALS PHOTOGRAPHY -CANDID SHOTS PHOTOGRAPHY – CATS AND DOGS / CATS / DOGS PHOTOGRAPHY – CONTEMPORARY WORK PHOTOGRAPHY – FLOWERS PHOTOGRAPHY – INSECTS PHOTOGRAPHY – TRADITIONALLY TURKISH PHOTOGRAPHY – TREE AND TREE PARTS T-SHİRTS —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / CATS ARE US / CHLOE / DIBLEY / KAR / MINTY / LINFORD / “LISA“ / “OLLIE“ / “OTHERS“ DOGS ARE US / BELA / CLYDE -ROTTWEILER PUP / LUCKY / MOLLIE -ROTTWEILER PUP / ROTTWEILER PUPS – THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS / ROTTWEILER PUPS – FOUR WEEKS AND ON / ROTTWEILER PUPS – EIGHT WEEKS AND COUNTING / TROY / “OTHERS“ ROTTWEILER PUPS A litter of 9 rottweiler puppies pups was born 24th March 2009. / Their mother is Bela and he father is Troy. / Taken with Sony Cybershot 14 May 2009. The smallest of the three boys – short haired with very big feet! The Rottweiler, or Rottweil Metzgerhund (“Butchers Dog”), is a “medium to large size, stalwart dog” breed originating in Germany as a herding dog. It is a hardy and very intelligent breed. Rottweilers also worked as draught dogs, pulling carts to carry meat and other products to market. “Rottweiler breeders aim at a dog of abundant strength, black coated with clearly defined rich tan markings, whose powerful appearance does not lack nobility and which is exceptionally well suited to being a companion, service and working dog.” The Rottweiler was kept busy in these traditional roles until the mid-19th century when railroads replaced droving for getting livestock to market. Although there are still Rottweilers working stock all over the world, many other roles have been found for this versatile breed. During the first and second World Wars, Rottweilers were put into service in various roles including as messenger, draught and guard dogs. Currently they are often used as search and rescue, assistance, guide dogs for the blind, guard and police dogs in addition to their traditional roles. Although an extremely versatile breed used in recent times for many other purposes, the Rottweiler is first and foremost one of the oldest, if not the oldest, of herding breeds. A multi-faceted herding and stock protection dog of exceptional ability, it is capable of working all kinds of livestock under a wide variety of conditions. The breed is an ancient one, whose history stretches back to the Roman Empire. In those times, the legions traveled with their meat on the hoof and required the assistance of working dogs to herd the cattle. One route the army traveled was through Württemberg and on to the small market town of Rottweil. The principal ancestors of the first Rottweilers during this time was supposed to be the Roman droving dog, local dogs the army met on its travels, and dogs with molosser appearance coming from England and The Netherlands. This region eventually became an important cattle area, and the descendants of the Roman cattle dogs proved their worth in both driving and protecting the cattle from robbers and wild animals. However, by the end of the 19th century as railroads became the main method for moving stock to market, the breed had declined so much that in 1900 there was only one female to be found in the town of Rottweil. • Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limbs, with webbed paws. Most have sharp claws on their feet, and all have long muscular tails. They have a very soft underfur which is protected by their outer layer of long guard hair. This traps a layer of air, and keeps them dry and warm under water. Most otters have fish as the primary item in their diet, supplemented by frogs, crayfish and crabs. Some are expert at opening shellfish, and others will take any available small mammals or birds. Otters are playful animals, for example sliding repeatedly down snowy slopes, apparently from sheer enjoyment. Click on Magazines above !
