Another shot taken when my water housing and 20D were still operational. This is a mate of mine, Brad.
Model – Tash Williams Shot on location in Adelaide in 2006 using Polaroid Viva Colour and a Colorpack 80 camera. Was a test shot and a bit of a fluke but it has since become one of my most popular pieces. Go figure. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

Met this friendly little red squirrel on an early morning walk in Peninsula State Park Door County, WI. He is just looking for someone to play with, don’t you think! In this watercolor we’re not sure whether this is a game of Hide N’ Seek, a young boy plotting some mischief, or hiding because he’s already created some.
I was at the park the other day with my grandchild .. and saw this bird on the monkeybar:).. looked as if he had all the time in the world..and not a care to his name. so I painted him and hope you enjoy it. as much as I did watching him. . The sparrow is a small bird that is not considered to be of much consequence. It is too small to be much of a meal, shows how much God pays attention to. “The very hairs on your head are numbered.” and then this happened amongst two .. we didnt know each other really .. but this came of our art. as we became friends.. throught the process of creating this peice. oh , please read more when you got a changce and visit it here / Hope is a thing with Feathers /
CENTRAL PARK Photo best viewed large. Central Park on a very foggy morning, March 17, 2009. / / / / “CENTRAL PARK” was featured in the group:#1 ARTISTS OF RED BUBBLE / / / “CENTRAL PARK” was featured in the group: / THE SCAVENGER HUNT / / Ashland, Kentucky, located in the NE part of the bluegrass state, boasts a 47-acre (190,000 m2) wooded park. Central Park was founded in 1854, with playgrounds and other amusements. In the spring of 1995, the pond was excavated, and later filled with water by September. The original water lilies that were planned in 1937 had come back in full bloom. Several fountains were added in the center of the park, and numerous fish species were added. The park today features an ice skating area, three separate children playgrounds, several baseball diamonds, a volleyball court and a traditional bandstand. Central Park also hosts an annual, holiday light show, the Winter Wonderland of Lights. The park is filled with lush greenery, flowers, and towering trees. /

As mentioned in my Penguin in a Snow Storm, I saw mobii’s Origami Penguin Tee shirt, and wanted to give it a go myself. This is the scenario I had in mind for it, and the first penguin I folded (the one in Penguin in a Snow Storm folded from a 7×7mm piece of paper) was too small, so I folded two bigger penguins with 14×14mm pieces of paper. The one on the left is flying up a bit after the right one stomped onto the other end. The seasaw is a cotton swab, and the “ice”, upon which the penguins and seesaw are reflected, is a plastic container. For a better idea of scale: / This work has been featured in / Little Things To Make You Smile More sample origami:

Seasons Greetings to all of you guys and all my best wishes for the New Year. Well many people wondered where and what was Blackcomb, well here you go. This is Blackcomb Mountain viewed from a neighbourhood called Blueberry at one of the high point which overlooks the golf course here in the town of Whistler, British Columbia. Took this at the end of the day as the sun is going down giving the mountain a glow before going into full shade. This is another HDR image, a combination of 3 images shot with the EV going from -1.2/3, 0 and +1.2/3 with an ISO 400 setting. That’s pretty much it, nothing else done to this one outside of slight crop. Better viewed full screen Take with my Canon Xt, Sigma 17-35mm lens. / Cheers

Dear William; Well honey its been 9 days I have been down here in the submersible, I’m studying the dolphins this month. I wish you were here to see them all interacting, its just amazing. They dont seem to be bothered with my presence anymore. / Ive been studying these beautiful creatures daily and the team wants to test their certain abilities and game behavior. We placed large cubed objects on the floor of the ocean to which they could be tested for long extended periods of time. It didnt take long until they did accept the objects, or even the lights going on when they entered them. Our little friends appeared to love this one in front of me the most and are joyously entertaining themselves daily with little games like, who can could turn through the cube the quickest. The elders are less likely to join in but remain near by. Perhaps their knowledge of such non sea elements are considered a breach of territory or considered a possible threat. / Well I better get back to work….Talk soon! / . / . / . / Journal Entry: June 12th, 2012 / Day 9…. / Quadrant 8 / Subjects: Ling’s Pod / Time: 2:34pm / Grouping: Ling’s pod has remained since dropping the cubes. No other pods have appeared. / Territorial Issues: Ling appears watchful of outside interference, even small fish / Flashing Light Reactions: Adults still unsettled, young adults intriqued / Gaming: The young adults appear most engaged while others try but end quickly, still unsure why / Emotional Stress: None at this time / Time of Cubing Interactions: Mostly between 10am & 4:40pm, seems feeding schedules counter the play activity. ©2007 Lisa C.
