We lay up on the golden sands – I got my equipment out Sony A100 / Sony kit lens

Original hand-painted acrylic on canvas (22in. x 28in.) inspired by Andy Warhol’s “Marilyn”. I chose naphthol crimson as the dominant color to represent the actress’s heat & passion. I chose to use cadmium yellow in stark contrast to the red to highlight her signature platinum hair and unforgettable eyes. Enjoy! Thank you for viewing my work – comments are greatly appreciated. The heart shadow is a symbol of the love that resides hidden within the shape of the ring. An added bonus on this piece is the Platinum color of both the ring and background combined with the lighting angle give it a provocative look, similar to something on the female form. What do you see?
