    I went to the Gawler Ranges last year on a conservation project. I stayed on this station 106km from the nearest town, it was a really surreal experience. The vast solitude really makes you develop an appreciation for nature and the enviroment. Maybe with a little more exposure I could come to respect nature and understand how the circle of life truly balances out as a biodiversity. We as humans are really not intune with the earth and what it really means to be alive. I hope to one day gain a greater understanding .This poem is a step closer there.
