_ dog and carrot_ acrylic paint is made by Sofia Youshi ( october 2007). The carrot , is a root vegetable, usually orange, white, or red-white blend in color, with a crisp texture when fresh. The edible part of a carrot is a taproot. It is a domesticated form of the wild carrot Daucus carota, native to Europe and southwestern Asia. It has been bred for its greatly enlarged and more palatable, less woody-textured edible taproot, but is still the same species.

Just a decorative piece I made from illustrations (pen and ink) of various trees and plants on one of my favourite walks in the Rimutaka forest park. I would have drawn these on-site but its generally veiled in sheets of misty rain, making sketching kind of like drawing on wet toilet paper with a wire brush… Hmmm!!
