What colors do you think about when you think of power I usually come up with just three! / Whites the color that I think of when I wanna be real sweet! / And Reds the color that I like when I need to be seen! / But blacks the color that has it all from sweetness to full power and I love to see it on my Mustang on highway 57. / I hit the road in full gear and ram that baby higher! / And then I slip back in to over drive and you better believe baby I am in heaven! / And then as I get out to the desert my throttles at full bore and then I feel the full power of this baby shaking at my doors! / I down shift in to my top five and oh she really purrs and back up in to over drive and watch out you little devil! / Oh baby this is more than fun its gotta be orgasmic to take that stick and shift and click its more than just electric! / So if your looking for a ride then look no more my friend this little Mustangs can be yours if you can pay me what I am asking!

What mess was this as I stayed in bed my life was in my room. / I sat all day with stuff on my face to ease this crazy itch. / My hands were moving to my face but mom said don’t I dare. / She says that it will leave a spot that I will always wear. / I wondered what that spot could be I thought that she was crazy. / So as my little finger dug a hole deep in to my bed. / That itch sure knew how to make me crazy and drive my mind insane. / My mothers pleas fell on deft ears I soon began to scratch. / I started low around my knees and worked my way up top. / My mother stormed in just in time to come to the rescue. / For in her hands was new medicine to stop this crazy itching! / It worked for just a day or two my troubles came back fast, and in an instant my hands did pick a hole that I wear today. / I look back at that funny time this hole is my reminder. / I am kinda glad I made it now, it reminds me of my childhood. / And they were the best days of my life…. / Even with the chicken pox!

What did you want as you walked with me as I held your hand in mine? / What did you think that I would be as I held your hand in mine? / What did you hope for as we strolled along walking hand in hand? / What was this special look that you gave me as you start to smile? / What was that little sparkle in your eyes as you said that you were mine? / What was it that you wanted from me the first time that we met? / You never say a word about what you did expect. / What was it that you whispered in my ear last night? / As I pushed deeply in your body as you held me very tight! / What were those little words that came so fast so swift as we made love last night? / Like little smiles and special kisses and just a soft kind touch. / What was it that you expected from me as you held my hand? / I think you wanted someone there who understood your dreams. / Someone who would take the time to hold you close and dear. / Someone to say your everything that I’ll ever need. / And even when we’ve had a fight you’ll still be all I need. / I think you wanted someone to love and be there for all time. / I think you wanted someone who would stand there by your side. / I think you wanted this man to say all the things that make you smile. / And what was that that you said to me as we made love last night? / After all these years we’ve been together and through all the little storms. / I smile to think you can say these words after all these years. / Well I can say them very clear I feel them in my heart I’ll repeat exactly what you said as you held me close last night. / You whispered in my ear my wife these words I hold so dear….. / “My love for you will never stop until my dying days”. / What was it that you wanted as you held my hand that first day? / It looks to me that all you wanted….............. was me.

Mars Attack Part 4 "The Passover"

This is from the series Mars Attack “The Passover” The visitors are passing directly over us as we look in wonder. / All eyes are glued to the sky as we stand and tremble. / The dog is barking at the sky I wonder if he knows? / That soon our whole worlds gonna change forced on us by strangers! / My minds confused as I stand and look what the hell is going on? / Just last week we were in the church praying to Baby Jesus. / But this has put a different player in to my religion. / I wonder who he’s praying to or even if he cares! / My wife’s still looking at the sky as I struggle with my mind. / And all my neighbors are in a trance as this thing go’s by. / And little Trudi’s standing there she’s peed in her new blue jeans. / And her friend Kim from down the street has done the same thing too. / And Mike the guy who’s always ready to come and play some cards. / Is on his knees in his front yard praying up to God. / My mind is still a little foggy as I look to all my neighbors and then Judi comes up to me and says she’s really frightened. / It looks to me that everyones scared as we look at it pass by. / And then I hear someone start to scream so loud it waked me from my thoughts. / Its Janis who’s from the next block over she’s the local artist. / I guess this night will get her busy painting brand new things no more fruit on little tables for this pretty lady. / She’s pointing in the other direction and oh Lord what’s that I see? / As far as my eyes will go are these giant flying sauces. / We all stand and look up at the sky I think someone has fainted! / Yep its Fred my kinky neighbor this is even too much for him as he’s passed out on the front yard in his pink rubber suit. / As far as my eyes will take me its full of flying saucer I guess these things aren’t joking now it looks like they mean business! / And running down the streets towards us is my online friend named Karen. / She’s telling everybody that these things are gonna kill us all. / I tell her to sit on the grass and take a little break if they had wanted us dead it would of been all over. / So here we stand all looking up and all that I can see is the sky so full of visitors to bring a change to our blue Planet! The Ballet

This is another of the flowers from my show and poems for her. I am not too big on the opera or the ballet but you wanted to go so I went with you. / I dressed up like you said I wore your favorite suit. / You pulled out something I had never seen you looked so good to me. / We called a cab to take us there you wanted to relax. / You said my driving would kill the mood so we took a cab that night. / The cab ride was a different feeling I felt like we were rich. / The two of us going to the ballet driven in cab. / I opened up the door and took a step out, and took your hand my darling wife you looked so good tonight. / And as we walked to the door to this holy place I took one final look at my lovely wife. / You looked so happy to be here it made me smile inside. / To see you standing in the line to finally get inside, I asked myself why had I hated that this night would come. / What was my problem about this was it just my hangup? / Here I was going to the ballet to watch some men in tights, / jump an twirl like little girls while they pranced on stage that night. / But as we entered into the room the place was one delight. / Lit in all kinds of gold lights and velvet on the walls. / It gave the feeling of royalty and you were the queen tonight. / We took our seats and your lovely eyes were glued to everything. / Like a little girl in a doll shop your eyes told everything. / Oh how you looked at all the people coming in the place and noted to me all the details engraved on all the walls. / You didn’t miss a moment of this lovely night. / But most of all you really shined when the dancers came out. / They pranced and twirled and did all types of movements. / I saw a different vision of these men in little tights. / They did all types of leaps and twirls to the classics that night. / I have to say what they did was more than I had thought, anyone could do with a mortal body. / But oh the evening was all your as I sat and looked at you. / Your shining eyes and lovely glow was brighter than the lights. / And as they danced away the night I could hear your every breath. / You were caught in every movement made as if it was you dancing. / Oh this was worth all the pain to dress up and come with you. / To only see your smiling face I would do it all again. / This evening showed me that a man can dance with silly tights and have more women fall in love with them than a macho man. / Your loving heart has showed me one more thing that I might of missed. / And as I think about tonight I am glad that your my wife.
Mars Attack Part 6 The Arrival

This Is part of the Mars Attacks series Part 6 Yool Yool what the hells all the screaming about? / I hear someone down the street shouting like their crazy. / Do you see anything down there? / Oh no David I can’t see that far anyway I think its the next block over. / Why don’t we just take a walk and see what its about. / I’ll tell my wife we’ll be right back and maybe you get Mike. / Oh by the way where was she at I thought she was with Trudi. / Last time I saw them they were both in the kitchen making breakfast. / I’ll meet you here you go get Mike and let me tell my wife we will be back. / Hey Trudi wheres my wife at I ? I thought she was in here? / No she’s in the bathroom crying she’s real scared. / Then tell her I will be right back Yool and Mike and I, are going to the next block we heard some screaming there. / Maybe you take a look and tell her to come out. / I think that will take too long my friend I see her in an hour. / Can I come with you too I need a break from here? / Well come on then,, but then again she’ll freak out if no ones here. / We’ll be right back just tell her we have gone to get some food. / Hey Trudi thanks a lot don’t worry we wont die. / Hey Mike hey Yool lets take the truck I think its a lot faster. / So off we go to the next block to see what all the noise is. / Hey Dave pull over thats the sound I think that we all heard. / Its coming out of that house their screaming like their crazy. / Hey take the gun no thats not cool they said no gun ever! / Ok then how about my baseball bat that ought to be ok? / Well Mike I think we better just go with empty hand just incase there’s something there that think we want to harm them. / Hey Yool you stay in the truck and we will be right back! / Hell no I don’t want to sit alone and miss all the fun. / Then get in back and let the men see what the fuss is all about! / Hello is anyone in here? We hear your screaming the next block over. / And then real loud a voice calls out come down stairs and and make sure your feet are covered there’s shit all about. / Mike go’s first and then I go and Yool brings up the rear. / And to my surprise the whole place stinks like someone took a poop. / Standing there with a bucket is this lovely sight. / With Blond hair and a knock out body and she’s got a dog by her side. / Hey my names David this is Mike and thats Yool in the corner. / So why you making all this noise we though you’d been attacked. / I was thats my husband thats stinking up the place. / He was in the back yard looking for some salad. / And then this thing came out of no where and bit him on his hand! / And then 10 minutes later he was lying there dead. / Oh by the way what’s your name? / Oh my friends call me Nature Lover. / I am sorry for you loss my friend now lets get your husband covered. / Why don’t you come out of this house now that your all alone. / You can come over to my house every body from the neighborhoods staying there. / And bring your dog we got one there and he needs the company too. / Pick up a few thing that you need to take with you and don’t forget your blankets. / And we will take a closer look out in your back yard. / Hey Yool your quite the expert on them little thing so take a look at everything and tell me what you see. / Mike take your camera an get some shots of anything that strange. / Will do my friend I got it covered RedBubble will love this stuff. / LOL hey Mike your still thinking about RedBubble I think we got bigger problems! / Well you never know where this will go and I guess this will be a favorite. / Damn Mike your still looking for a feature! / Hey David!! Yool screams out get over her right now!! / And sure enough Miss Yools keen eyes have found the little killer. / Oh my what’s that its looking like its ready for a fight. / It was a Cone plant Yool tells me but now its something else. / Is it talking or is that just the wind that I hear. / Yep its talking in some language I can’t make it out my friend. / What the hells going on this plants talking to us now? / I think were going to have some changes in the future Dave. / Hey Mike get a shot of this your cameras got a video too? / This little things speaking some language maybe someone knows what it is back at home. / Damn Dave too bad RedBubbles not doing video yet this would be a killer! / Well Mike make sure you don’t touch that thing or you could end up like the husband! / Ok lets get the hell out of here this place is making me nervous. / So grab that stuff for Nature Lover and lets get the hell out of here!! / So Yool how the hell can a plant talk thats the first time I ever saw that! / Well David they have a life so why not? / You ever listen to a plant or tried to feel for it? Watching the shore I see my life wash out to distant places. / I see my life as if it were the wave thats coming in. / One moment its in full view I see it loud and clear. / And now its taken a new course no longer in my view. / My life has been the same as you I whisper to my friend. / You move with a mighty force like I did when I was young. / But now as you reach the shores and the end is close for you. / You seem to have more in common with me the mortal man. / I watch you as you stumble in a small and fearless friend. / When once you were a mighty thing with force to scare most men. / But now you limp up to my feet I can feel your feeble cry. / I hear you loud and clear my friend, that the two of us will die. / You die here as I stand and feel you cling to me. / But you my friend will rise again to beat these shores again. / But I your watchman standing here too old to have much fear. / Watch as you go rolling out to come back in again. / As if you were afraid to die alone it’s me you wish would come. / My time like your is not too long I seen many go to you. / And as I stand and watch you come I really have no fear. / We share a common tread my friend my body’s made of water and one day soon you and I will swim the sea together.

Mars Attack Part 6 Friends Oh Dave I was so worried about you where have you guys been? / Hi honey we went down the street we heard somebody screaming! / It turned out to be a lovely lady her husband had just died. / It seems that one of them was hiding in her yard and touched him and he died! / What’s that your talking about? I am missing everything! / Someone’s husband was killed by one of them? / So it seems my little rose but don’t you stress out. / Its gone for now or so it seems we have a video of it. / Hey Mike get all the people in we need to have a meeting. / Will do Dave I am on my way you two get the room all cleaned up. / Hey Mike take Yool she’s always good at pulling folks together. / She’s got something thats like a magnet everyone attracted to her. / She in the back with her cousin she’s just got back in town. / She was in Washington DC for the convention helping out Obama. / What’s her name and is she sweet just like her little cousin? / She’s quite the looker and her names Ajax so be careful with the jokes. / And when your back there tell them all to come in and take a seat! / And Janeymac’s in the backyard too playing with her dog. / When did she get here I thought she was way down in Virginia? Cast into this web of life I choose to find my way. / Surrounded by all types of spoils to rob me of my faith. / I search in all directions for one hand of help. / And all that I seem to find is men who are corrupt. / Where are the men of virtue with eyes set to the prize. / Who seek the same as I do truth, love and family pride. / Surrounded by the virtueless with eyes of bad intent. / I strive to find a better way as I struggle to exist. / I look to you for my guidance to see me on my way. / And give me strength to find the light to keep my family strong. / Without you there in my life I fail to all I love. / So now I am down on my knees to say that you are loved. / Thank you my friend for all you give to me.

Oh help me find the words to say exactly what I see. / As I sit and look out at this lovely field of red and orange. / What is it thats caught my words deep inside of me? / I search for words but none will come this field is so hypnotic. / So I sit and look at all that God has placed before my eyes. / And laugh about the magic he has put on earth if we just take a look. / Forget about the things men do to destroy all that he’s built. / And take a moment to cast your eyes on this field of love. / I know who made the mountains and opened up the sky. / I know who’s been there every day even when I am down. / And I know who gives me comfort when I stand alone. / I know who I can say thank you to when I am on my knees. / But here before my very eyes is just this small reminder. / That the maker of us all is even a great painter!

I kiss your lips my lovely dove your trembling in my arms. / Your here tonight to give yourself it’s you that wants not I. / You settle into my arms and touch my face so soft. / And then you kiss me on my neck and tell me I am loved. / You come to me my precious love your hands shake from your fear. / You touch me where you’ve never gone I feel your pounding heart. / I hear you say that its ok you want this more than I. / But my love for your virtue tonight I must deny. / I want you too my body says my mind says this is wrong. / I want to hold you in my arms as any man would do. / But something says I need to wait until that time is right. / And look at you with loving eyes and not with shame tonight. / I feel like we are cheating two kids out in the car. / But here we are both adults but love this isn’t right. / I want to say please baby lets just wait awhile. / And then when your my lovely wife I’ll know the time is right. / And then I’ll look you in the eyes without one ounce of doubt.
Mornings

Mornings break and you are there safe beside my side. / My sleep was filled with lovely things the whole night through. / I danced and ran through the woods with you holding hands. / We stopped to watch a robin sign as the sun came up. / And then we ran a little more until we stopped to kiss. / The woods so cool in mornings light we wondered at the sight. / The mist was coming off the earth as we watched it move. / And not far off in the distance we saw a lovely thing. / A baby doe with mom in tow running through the mist. / We stopped to watch this lovely sight and kissed a little more. / And then you took me by the hand and then we ran some more. / You laughed I laughed we were children once again. / We stopped to watch a toad come out from his sleeping place. / And blink his eyes as morning came its time to find a fly. / And as we ran an eagle flew high above the trees sounding out the alarm that mornings finally come. / We ran some more until we came to our favorite place. / High above the oceans reach as we looked far out. / We watched as waves came tumbling in as we held each other. / And then you looked me in the eyes and said this must be heaven. / And in my dream we were so young as dreams so often do. / But as I lie here in this bed your beauty has not changed. / I look at you and think about how much we share together. / The woods so cool and so sublime at this time of day. / And here we were in my dream lovers once again.

Hello everybody!! / Relax this thing is just passing over Alan an I have been watching this for the last half hour so just relax its not going to land here !! I hope. / Well what the hells it doing and what are we gonna do? / Karen just relax its not looking for us its after the leaders so it seems so no one here is a leader so just relax and getting excited about this thing is not going to help anyone. / Anyone seen my wife? / Yea Dave she’s with Romo in the play room down stairs. / Was she ok or still crying? / She looked happy for a change since Romo showed up! / Hey Alan what’s going on with that woman who’s talking to the plant? / What’s her name? / Shanina Dave and she’s still in her own world. / She say anything at all? / Nope didn’t hear a thing but Trudi might know something more! / Where she? / Don’t know she was here a few minutes ago! / Hey Dave I saw her with that woman you bought in Kate they were talking before we all came back out here. / Look Dave its a lot bigger now and gee its really big!! / Its so big the sky’s starting to get dark. / Hey Dave what do you think its doing coming this way Manhattans that way! / I think its looking for something and its got a lot of room for holding what ever it want’s to hold so lets just keep out fingers its not looking for any of us! / Hey Dave!! “Mike running out of breath!” / Hey Dave!! Its the air phone! its that woman who was coming from California with some guy names Clive! / I think she said MiMi. / Oh yea I was expecting them to show up tomorrow. / Hello MiMI this is Dave. / Hi Dave we won’t be there tomorrow it seems we have a problem here all the roads seem to be blocked up and no one is being allowed to travel ! / What? they are blocking the roads? / Yep all of the roads on the interstate are blocked from all the conversations I have had with others traveling they all say the same thing! / So what do you see? / They have these small space crafts just sitting on the highway in both directions and no one can pass. / But to make things worse no ones cars are able to start and they just told us to sit still, they were looking for someone and once they had him they would allow us to travel on! But until they had him it was best for our safety to remain in our cars. / What the hell could that be? / I don’t know but its seems somethings going on that they didn’t expect or they wouldn’t block up all the roads! / MiMI, we have approaching us a hugh space ship its really big my guy Mike says its 3 miles wide! / Gee three miles wide? / Yep and its moving fast it was the size of a dime 45 minutes ago and now its the size of a half dollar. / Oh gee! / And its really loud too! / Hold on Dave they are talking to us! / Mike, Alan! Come here listen to this! / Everyone please quiet I am trying to hear what MiMI has to say she’s on the highway coming this way from California and she says the highways are closed to traffic because the aliens have blocked up the roads in both directions looking for someone! / She’s on line now listening to what they are saying so please everyone quiet! / Alan run down stairs and see what’s going on with my wife and Romo will you? / Sure Dave no problem! / Mike take a look for Trudi and that Karen woman and also see what that Shanina is up to ok? / And don’t leave her alone if she’s alone. / Hello Dave? And their cars destroyed. / Gees Us did anyone keep going? / One did and he was floating in the air and then dropped 100 feet to the ground. / They were not hurt their air bags saved them. Dawn Breaks

Dawn Breaks before my eyes and your six thousand miles away. / I see the fire start to rise right before my eyes. / I feel the flea’s inside my shirt biting down on me. / And I think about you in our bed safe without me. / Dawn breaks another day its been two years of this. / It seems to me that this dry place has made me hate the sun. / And as I look out on the horizon all that I can see, is sand forever and then forever more. / Dawn breaks before my eyes I wonder who has died. / I hear mortar fire far off in the hills I bet its them again… killing some of us. / Dawn breaks its night where you are. / Safe in our green land. / I can smell your hair and feel your skin as I look at this dry place. / I see your smile as I think about who’s that way out there? / Is it a friend or will I have to kill again today? / I killed a man yesterday as I thought of you. / My soul died with him as he fell to the sand, I wondered who he was! / But this is war so they say, so I hold on to that thought. / Without that thought I just might crack up! / I am not the kid who left your arms two long years ago. / You asked me when I was back on leave if I had killed someone? / What could I say but a lie “I never shot my gun”. / When every night someone’s been shot and I am dying with him too. / I am here to kill thats my job to protect my country’s needs. / But what they are I still don’t know but then I’am just a Joe. / Dawn breaks as you sleep I think of you each day. / Without you there I’d go insane this place is so unreal. / To think that children have no choice but to live with death each day. / And all I ever knew when I was young was will the Yankees win. / I look into their tiny eyes an ask what will they do when they grow up? / An then my captain says to me watch out they’ll kill you too! / I look at them so young so small their eyes have seen it all. / And all I ever knew back then was swimming in the pool. / I don’t think they’ve ever seen a pool or know even how to swim. / But one thing as I look at them I see that their old men. / Dawn breaks as I think of you another day has gone. / Its night time here I’ve watched the sun roll away again. / And with its setting in the sand I see a new night come. / And with the night gun fire comes from the hills again. / I watch as I see gun fires light coming from the hills. / My minds grown cold to its fire I’ve seen so much of it! / And deaths at times can be a friend just to leave this place. / Its so crazy here thank God you’ll never know such fear. / Thank God I have a safe place this night the shots are miles an miles away. / Next week it will be my turn to ride up in them killing hills, so this is my time to think of you! / I ask myself as I pray that I get home safe to you, oh lord don’t let me get killed by sniper fire tonight? / Nights are long in this place they never go by fast. / It seems to me that time is dragging it’s lazy ass. / Nights are lonely and days are long it seems like fifty hours in a day. / I scratch myself till I bleed these damn flea’s it seems are working with the enemy! / And now I see the sun come up again full of angry fire, as if its in protest of this hateful place. / The flea’s have made a meal of me each an every night. / It seems they are the only ones who will win this useless fight! / Dawn breaks and I wonder who has died? / One day closer till I am home safe in bed with you. /
My Soul

I dream to find my soul again deep inside my heart. / And when I bring it out to share it starts to cry in pain! / Oh cry your heart out in my chest and come back out no more. / These thing that I want to save you from you must never see again. / Lie deep within my aching heart and weep and weep poor thing. / For what man has created is made from all your pain. / I want to save you from the hurt but you’re so curious. / You want to let the world see what you’re made of. / But the world has changed my friend its moved to a new plane. / One thats lost the virtues that you have as you weep inside. / So come back to me my love and I will nurture you. / And give you what your looking for all my eternal love.
Blood Shot eyes!!

This is not one of the flowers from my show and “Poems for her” but will be in my book. I like many see such thing that make us want to do more but where do we draw the line an how much can we do. This is a poem about how I feel about these things. My eyes have seen a lot of things that many dare not see. / The suffering of the little ones that sleep in all the streets. / My eyes have seen many men locked out of life’s main stream. / And here I am with food enough for many mouths to eat. / My eyes have seen the little ones crying out for love! / While many are lying dead from hunger in some dirty house. / While their mommas arms stuck with needles as they slowly die. / An daddy’s never been a name that they’ll ever know. / I look at them so young and fresh and they too have a need. / That same drug that their mommas need their little body’s crave! / My eyes cry out and scream to you please see these little ones. / Their plight is not their making it comes from mans desires. / We make a world that fit for some and other fall aside. / As we with many close our eyes, and step with eyes so blind! / I see you there I am just one, my heart go’s out to you. / Lying there in streets so cold with no one there for you. / How is it that my eyes see you but in my mind I’ve died. / Is it that its all too much as I try to survive! / I want to help what can I do your way too gone for me. / My eyes cry out I look for help but none is in my site. / Your little cry’s that I can hear no others care about. / I cry for you at night my child I lie here in my bed. / And wish that I had more to give then just my eyes this day. / But what can I just one man do to lend a hand? / So here I lie in my bed crying in my pain. / I turn my eyes like many men for this I am ashame!

I see your looking at me my friend your eyes have said that well. / And what is it that your telling me as you gaze my way. / What can you want from me my dear your much too fine for me. / An as I ask me why it is that you stare at me. / I can’t see it in the mirror I look ok to me. / But you my sweet are far too young I guess this is a dream. / I look at you so pure and young and I just know your mine. / Your little eyes say I love you until the day I die. / I reach into your little crib and take you in my arms. / Your little smile so sweet so pure I could look at it all day. / Now look what you just did again you made me smile some more. / I think that this will never end I feel it in my heart. / And here I am your loving dad your new to me this day. / And my, oh my I never knew that I could feel this way. / You smile at me so full of love, and make me feel so good. / I look down at your fine young face and see a gift from God. / Your mine! oh God! your really mine!
