  • Lit from behind, giving a different view of nature.

  • Photo of a burgundy Flax plant. Blacks bumped for impact in RAW import..

  • Sea Freight Containers stacked at a recycling plant in the Docklands. Cropped in just a little to simplify the composition. I didn’t notice till afterwards that exposing for the sunlit containers had rendered the shadowed rope coil blue.. just enough to offset the rusty yellows. Amen to ‘happy accidents’..

  • Heres an example how the image looks like with one of the framing options. Click on the buy/preview to see more.

  • Lively Colored flower and leaf

  • I was given a bunch of flowers this week and the puzzling thing when I went to put them in a vase was that some of them were dyed!!!! I love the natural beauty of the protea…so I’m not sure that this is needed…...However they do make for vibrant shooting though LOL! I liked the shadows that were cast on the leaves so this is a bit of an experimental composition too. /

  • Cloudy sky and black plant silhouettes.

  • “Hedychium gardenarium” green foliage, in a forest at the Azores islands, Portugal.

  • ..I am still beautiful

  • If you look further than the bright bright lights, there is beauty to behold.

  • Viriginia creeper on a fence. The leaves cause dramatic shadows which seem to creep along the fence with the vine. /

  • There are no blue trees in reality, at least not these type of trees.

  • Boorwoowhangary Rainforest Gardens, Taree, NSW Australia. The park is now closed permanently. This image is one of a series I will use for a calendar. Fuji Finepix S7000

  • I took this in the botanical garden in Cairns, Australia. The light was shining through the canopy of the trees above and nicely lit this branch and leafs.

  • There is this really interesting park out near Wanneroo that I decided to wander through and photograph. In the end the only images I was happy with were the ones that looked like living shadows. Anyway this is one of the images, hope you enjoy it. Shot with: / Canon 450D / Canon 17-85mm lens Image © Jeremy Passmore
