We have all heard of meat eating plants, but I am sure we have not heard of one that has a liking for chicken drumsticks! This one use to be found growing around chicken and free range egg farms (and you thought battery hens were invented for convenience). Obviously due to its immense risk to the industry, all but a few have been poisoned. In a lot of instances, foxes have been blamed for this plants activities.

The oni is a Japanese folkore character that takes on a variety of visual forms and can have just as many symbolic meanings. for example, they are used to ward away bad luck, much as gargoyles in Western tradition, and are commonly used in buildings. My design took its own direction and the oni pictured seems to have become tangled up with an octopus! Scotty /
