  • Reload and new crop and framed.

  • A funny image of the old moon himself taking havick on earth after the space shuttle crashes into him.

  • Everything that is created and every idea evolves from somewhere, and that somewhere doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the final destination, this is just a shirt with a pattern on it, and the pattern can mean a thousand things beyond one point, and not stating something it may or may not mean doesn’t mean that ‘it doesn’t or does mean it’. / . / I was reading yet another another article on some fancy new telescope that assisted us in being able to see stars form in the galaxy around the time of the Big Bang, if there ever was a Big Bang, and I remembered how I used to love this stuff, but now I think it’s time we accepted how our view up has increased our awareness of our own vulnerability and we thought about looking down at least as much. The nearest star (apart from the sun) is about 4.2 light years away, which would take about 90,000 years to get to in Voyager 2. So we’re not getting there anytime soon. At present we appear to be destroying this planet, and aware of it, so really that’s a lot like suicide. Priorities people. The blade is made of an image of the oldest galaxy we’ve found, and I stencilled it so I could use paint drips rather than blood. I’m trying to avoid blood these days. And I’m no astronomer, if my information is incorrect please blame the internet as a whole for lying. And go and ask this man, Mr Dave Pearson who actually does know what he is talking about and to whom I dedicate this tee and my new thoughts about it.

  • Another Birthday Card for my Friend for 2007this time… Dedicated to Niki 2007

  • Oil on canvas 40” X 40”. Completed 1999. www.RainbowPathArtStudio.com “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one” / – Albert Einstein It is so amazing how some paintings come into being and the effect they have on the unsuspecting viewer. In 1997 I was painting with a group of like-minded artists for an upcoming exhibition. One of the artists was a beautiful soul by the name of Greg Grace. Greg was a good friend of mine whose work I greatly admired. One day Greg was showing me some of his latest drawings and when I saw a sketch of the Gateway, I was blown away. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, affecting me very deeply. I wanted to take it home to look at, every day. So I came up with a great solution, I would paint it! I approached Greg with the idea and much to my surprise he agreed. Greg liked the way I painted and felt that my style of painting would very much suit and enhance the powerful energy emanating from the mandala. He gave me the original drawing from which I worked. I absolutely loved painting the mandala. Painting the mandala in the dot style is the most effective and energetically powerful way of transmitting the essence of Gateway. The energy was so powerful at times that I could not work on the painting for more that a couple of hours a day. The original drawing was only of the mandala; I added the cosmic background because that’s where the gateway existed. When I look at the mandala in a meditative way I go through it to other dimensions. Intuitively, I sense that the Gateway exists within the middle star of the belt of Orion, and is the primary star-gate to multi- dimensional levels and universes. Every one of my friends who came to look at Gateway had a unique experience.

  • Once they all believed in dragons / When the world was fresh and young, / We were woven into legends, / Tales were told and songs were sung, / We were treated with obeisance, / We were honored, we were feared, / Then one day they stopped believing / On that day, we disappeared. / Now they say our time is over, / Now they say we’ve lived our last, / Now we’re treated with derision / Where once we ruled unsurpassed. / We must make them all remember, / In some way we must reveal / That our spirit lives forever— / We are dragons! • I remember when I was a small child my first view of Mount Nankeira, with a backdrop of stars. / I stood holding Nanna’s hand, feeling the the pull of the great unknown, and knowing that someday I would be exploring those same Nebulas and Stars. / Standing here at the edge of the Sundering Sea, the mountain was awesome, but more awesome was my future beyond. • This is a tribute to one of my favourites books: The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince) wrote by Antoine de Saint Exupéry in 1943. / Though ostensibly a children’s book, The Little Prince makes several profound and idealistic points about life and human nature. Saint Exupéry tells of meeting a young prince in the middle of the Sahara. The essence of the book is contained in the famous lines uttered by the fox to the Little Prince: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le cœur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.” (One cannot see well except with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes). Other key thematic messages are articulated by the fox, such as: “You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed” and “It is the time you have spent with your rose that makes your rose so important.” DETAIL: / Best Sellers T-Shirts / / / / / / / / / / /

  • A retro style 1940/50s style rocket blasts it’s way into orbit, or maybe to the Moon or Mars in time for tea with the Martians perhaps.

  • With Earth as the leader, the planets of the Solar System have turned against poor Pluto excluding him from their group of planets. He is now demoted to a dwarf planet. This contemporary themed image is build upon events in which Pluto was degraded and reclassified to a dwarf planet. It is now no longer part of the classic line of planets in our Solar System as I’ve been used to. It’s strange when you’ve been able to memorize the planets ever since you were a kid and for the future will have to leave this little icy rock out. I liked doing a smaller and less extensive project for a change. I had this simple idea, and worked on/off for about a week before completing this. I had great fun stuffing as many little funny details into the image as I could, and I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it! Visit MathiasPedersen.com to see more of my artwork.

  • With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /

  • FROM WIKIPEDIA / The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years away4 in the constellation Andromeda. It is the nearest spiral galaxy to our own, the Milky Way. As it is visible as a faint smudge on a moonless night, it is one of the farthest objects visible to the naked eye, and can be seen even from urban areas with binoculars. It is named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology.

  • This one’s a bit of a diversion for me. I’m just trying to avoid finishing my children series! I eventually broke down and bought a book on photo shop techniques . I’m not sure it helped that much as this image took me 5 times longer to create! / Still, it keeps me out of trouble I guess….
