I was playing around with a sunset photo I had taken, when I got the idea for a planet similar to Earth, populated with humanoid type creatures who find something to grumble about regardless of the situation. Their conversation might go something like: I can’t believe it Zhrikplatth, that’s the third time this Dasnuba that the skyhop has been late. Keep your veins in, Krryp, at least we can enjoy another methane sunset while we wait.

The 6,000 year old Sumerian descriptions of our solar system include one more planet they called “Nibiru”, which means “Planet of the crossing”. Nibiru is said to have an approximate 3600 year elliptical orbit that takes it far beyond the known boundary of our solar system. There is evidence of many cover ups by NASA that date all the way back to what may be the original discovery by the NASA IRAS satellite back in 1983. You can read the original front page story published in the Washington Post at the link below, as NASA / pulled their announcement a week after giving it. Thankfully it was archived by CalTech at the link below… for now anyway. / / Mystery Heavenly Body Discovered, Washington Post – 31-Dec-1983 / http://spider.ipac.caltech.edu/staff/tchester/iras/washington_post_mystery_object.html / / Further, there has been ongoing evidence of NASA doctoring images captured from a wide array of different telescopes for over 30 years that may show the approaching Nibiru. Ice cores taken in both Greenland and Antarctica also show that Earth has had significant impacts that relate to this 3600 year orbit of the mysterious ‘Nibiru’. There are also references to it in almost all religions, from the Bible, to the Koran, to the Mayans, to the aboriginals on many different continents. / / Governments around the world are building elaborate underground shelters to house thousands of the rich and elite, as well as, other underground shelters to warehouse seeds and other genetic material. I remember when I was a small child my first view of Mount Nankeira, with a backdrop of stars. / I stood holding Nanna’s hand, feeling the the pull of the great unknown, and knowing that someday I would be exploring those same Nebulas and Stars. / Standing here at the edge of the Sundering Sea, the mountain was awesome, but more awesome was my future beyond. This is a tribute to one of my favourites books: The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince) wrote by Antoine de Saint Exupéry in 1943. / Though ostensibly a children’s book, The Little Prince makes several profound and idealistic points about life and human nature. Saint Exupéry tells of meeting a young prince in the middle of the Sahara. The essence of the book is contained in the famous lines uttered by the fox to the Little Prince: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le cœur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.” (One cannot see well except with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes). Other key thematic messages are articulated by the fox, such as: “You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed” and “It is the time you have spent with your rose that makes your rose so important.” DETAIL: / Best Sellers T-Shirts / / / / / / / / / / /

Here’s another reason space rocks…..............Slee Dragon Wings. What you may ask are Slee Dragon Wings, well’ SDW’s are the best delicacy in the know universe, and maybe in a few unknown ones as well. Every 70th turn of the moon “CandyRock”, the SD’s hatch in the gelitinous pink craters of said moon, they suck up the sweet pink nectar, and when their wings are thick and heavy, they lift off the surface. Once beyond the pull of the moon, they float in space until meeting the gravitational / pull of the planet Candy Wings, floating gently down through the atmosphere and pulled by the lure of the Big Rock Candy Mountains and the sweet treats that await. After landing their 4 wings break off, they then burrow into the sweetness to find a mate and breed. The wings are gathered by the older Slee Dragon females and sold off-world at a fine profit. / The delicacy can be savoured at many top-end eateries across the Universe. Recipe. 4 Wings (nobeing as ever eaten more than 4) / 3 succulent Grimbil Eggs / 5 measures of Kram Lizard Brains / 4 bottles of Guinness ( aged 100 years ) Marinate wings in eggs and brains for at least 5 months. / then cook slowly over a bed of hot Creelab Bark ashes ( about 4 hours) Serve with a sprig of shamrock. Wash it all down with the Guinness. A feast, just talking about it makes me salivate,mmmmmmmmmm good, a tad expensive, but well worth the creds. Dragons and plants created in Bryce.

With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /

Today I drove from my old home to my new home, so in the morning I drove from the past into the future. / And when driving alone I listen to music, on my journey into the future today I listened to the sound track from *The Last of the Mohicans a challenging sound, a sound of the future, but also the sounds of the death chant of the “People”. So with that I drove into the dawn, in my mind there formed the image of northern regions, forests, lakes and rivers, and thats where I’m heading, to my new home on the river. But of course that image is for the future, it won’t go away, it will wait for when its needed. So with the day at an end, I have to return to the past, because the transition is still taking place, both physically and mentally, the past pulling me back, and the future just beyond the horizon. And so on the drive home I listened to ” Spirit Chaser ” an album with the sounds of the Skin Drum, the Rain Stick and just a pinch of the Didge, and in the background of the sounds of the deserts and forests, and bush. All this from the Anglo Irish group “Dead Can Dance” Showing me that the past will always be there, back beyond the mountains of the mind, it catches and is caught on the sharp edges and the imagination will bring it out when needed, but not always as remembered, for the imagination is not infallible. And so this is my image for this day of change and transition, its an image of deserts and ageless continuation, and a place to confront the Spirit Seeker, and yes,as with all things, it waits for me on an alien world
