This picture was made to represent my character, Laren, in a D&D roleplay that a friend of mine is running. She’s playing a song titled “The Last Offensive” which is about a doomed battle between her people and the Orcs. The elven people were in retreat, but the Orcs were following closely behind. All the elven warriors made one last stand so that the women, children, and elders could make their escape into the forest and into hiding. Their stand was successful and the elves were able to escape, but the cost was devasting.

This is my daughter Brooke, I took this yesterday when I got home from work, (12/29/08) Brooke decided to stay in her pj’s all day long, I thought to my self, I wish I could have stayed home with her all day, we could have spent the day in our pj’s together ;o( Unfortunetelly you can see a white light, top right corner of the photo. Someone decided to walk in front of my camera at the time I took the photo. But I thought it almost looks like an angel watching over Brooke so I decided that it’s a keeper. :

A triptych I made of three images taken during a walking journey. I rather liked the concept. The feet are Bill’s my husband and generally I am behind him. His legs take longer steps than mine and they are a lot faster.

slight language warning. The knuckle head engine, is a Harley Davidson V-Twin engine which derived its nickname from the fact that the rocker boxes resemble two knuckles on the back of a hand closed into a fist. A knucklehead is also an informal fool or idiot.
