• Collaboration: First Tripod Out of the Pit

  About a week ago Lloyd Harvey commented on...

  About a week ago Lloyd Harvey commented on my photograph Beyond the Trees, saying that it reminded him of one of the early scenes of H. G. Wells’ book The War of the Worlds. He then went on to express a desire to take the image and turn it into what he was seeing. Never having done any sort of collaboration before, and being a big fan of the book (I read it many times as a child and own quite a few copies), I was intrigued by the idea. So, a couple of BubbleMails later we had a plan. Lloyd delivered the result to me today: I think he’s done a great job (and I do like the idea of a tripod getting ready to take on Billingborough) and the bulk of the credit goes to Lloyd: I just took a photograph, he did a lot of work creating the tripod and then processing the final result. Have a look at his page for the image for details on how he created the work. And be sure to have a look at his website too.

  This has been quite the day for me! I’m smiling so hard my face might crack! LOL But it is fun! Wooo Hooo!! 2 of my pictures that are Featured are in the APBT Lovers Group. They are “Sweetpea” and “The Curious Buck And Powder”. Thank you so much to the hosts of this fantastic group!!! This is my breed…so I am extra proud to be Featured there. I am especially proud of “The Curious Buck And Powder” because it gives people a chance to see how wonderful this breed really is. / / My Challenge win is also in the APBT Lovers Group! It’s a Banner Challenge to use for pictures that get featured. It also won the group Avatar for an undetermined amount of time. :)) so I will enjoy it while it lasts!   Wow! Looks like July is going out with a bang! I am filled with happiness and appreciation for the Features I have gotten and the Top 10 placements. First I want to thank the hosts of Cats and Dogs for Featuring MIA!! This little girl was such a great model for me and I’m so happy to see her up among such other great works! / Second…A big Thank You to the hosts of LMAO ART for Featuring FOR ME??? in their group. I’m tickled that my curious and silly deer that come to visit me are being featured in such a fun group. / Third…Thank you SO much to the hosts of Accentuate The Eyes for Featuring BABY ORIOLE!!! This little guy was really special to me. I only had him for a couple of days…but I became attached to him. I know…so silly…lol It was so good to see him be able to live and fly off and have a real life…but sad too. I miss the little guy. :)) / And Fourth….Thanks to the member who voted for BABY BISON in the Baby Horns Challenge in Antlers, Racks and Other Horned Animals…and put him in the top 10! /
