first i thought about getting a hotel room for that shooting, but the only one i liked was in the hilton, and unfortunaly they wanted 400€ for for a night, and there was no way like renting it for an hour or two (and the be honest, with 400 bucks i will buy a new lens, or a decent scanner, or a light meter, or other creepy stuff ^^) / So i decided to go over and ask my neigbouhr I i could use her rooms for a small shooting :) / And it worked, it was the first shooting with my new medium format camera.. damm! i messed it up pretty much, but the model is a good friend of mine so we have a laugh about the mess (and some digital pictures as compensation) Thursday the colour negativ film will be developed, and this evening i will develop the black&white film on my own (and hope i will get acess to a scanner this week). But back to this photograph ;) And for anyone who is thinking about buying it 60% of the money will go straight to lilli, the model.

John Simon Ritchie, better known as Sid Vicious, was an English punk rock musician, the bass player of the Sex Pistols and solo singer. Punk rock is an anti-establishment rock music genre and movement that emerged in the mid-1970s. Groups such as the Ramones, Sex Pistols, and The Clash were recognized as the vanguard of a new musical movement. By 1977, punk was spreading around the world.
God Save The Queen was originally called No Future. The band played it live and recorded a demo version with that title, but changed it when lead singer Johnny Rotten got the idea to mock the British monarchy. This became an anthem for the Punk movement in England. It expressed the anger young people felt toward the establishment. God save the queen / The fascist regime / They made you a moron / Potential H-bomb God save the queen / She ain’t no human being / There is no future / In England’s dreaming Don’t be told what you want / Don’t be told what you need / There’s no future, no future, / No future for you God save the queen / We mean it man / We love our queen / God saves God save the queen / ‘Cause tourists are money / And our figurehead / Is not what she seems Oh God save history / God save your mad parade / Oh Lord God have mercy / All crimes are paid When there’s no future / How can there be sin / We’re the flowers in the dustbin / We’re the poison in your human machine / We’re the future, your future God save the queen / We mean it man / We love our queen / God saves God save the queen / We mean it man / And there is no future / In England’s dreaming No future, no future, / No future for you / No future, no future, / No future for me No future, no future, / No future for you / No future, no future / For you

Model – Desirae No matter what is happening in our lives, we always have the opportunity to make a conscious decision about what happens to us next. The defining moments in my life can be counted on my fingers… finishing school… choosing my career path… not giving up on getting the love of my life to say ‘yes’... the birth of each of my beautiful children… each moment is a precious blip in my time line that I am grateful for experiencing. I sometime wonder what would have happened if I chose not to make the decisions in my life I have and while I’m certainly not immune to making the occasional bad decision I certainly can’t complain… I’m living the life I’ve chosen for myself and that’s all I can ask for. I have always wanted to do ‘something’ with this image of Desirae but at the time of taking it my skills simply didn’t match the final image in my head… when I pressed the button on my camera this is pretty close to what I saw and I’m happy to settle for that… for the moment anyway.
