  • This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

  • Copyright © 2008 Linda Apple / “Just Visiting” / oil on canvas / F is for Fairy Featured in: / Imaginative Realism / Challenge Winner: / 08/02/09 – Angels & Spirit Guides In these trying times, it doesn’t hurt to have a bit of humor. / I have had this idea from the saying: “It takes All Kinds”. This gal seems to be a bit lost (as she is just visiting) but has found an interested little helper. / Personally, I have always believed in the “other realms”as such but not in the way that they are usually depicted. I believe that they are often just like this gal, the average person who may be just visiting or here to help or to light up our life. I guess this painting touches on these thoughts.
