  • Stand out from the crowd….Be Unique….Be You!!! Also available with text, a poem by Phil Sanders here

  • Sometimes one only gets to see part of the whole, but that part is so breathtaking that no more is needed, sometimes a person will only reveal a part of themselves, and over time one sees a little more and a little more and the glimpse grows and the picture becomes whole…

  • Digital drawing I made up based on a woman I saw while in France. Sapphire has her own story too. She comes from Sweet Water Texas. Her mother is an X motor biker chick gang member. They were poor so Sapphire use to pole dance to get through school. She was brutally raped by two men. Her mother wanted to raise enough money from her 2 jobs to hire a hit man to kill her daughter’s attackers. But the attackers were rich, one was the son of a state senator, the other his best friend. They were untouchable for people like Sapphire and her mother Canvas. Canvas has a thick Texan accent, flaming red hair, a heavy smoker, 6 foot 2 and 200 pounds. She was known for her chain matches back in the day. She has a criminal background but has tried to stay straight for her daughter. / She never did get the money together so she sold her hog and took what money she had and her daughter and left for NYC at the request of Sapphire’s counsler, Mrs. Cherry who knew of a way Canvas and Sapphire could start a new life. She hooks them up with Lance J. Strongwell. Canvas can’t stand to watch her 23 year old beautiful daughter hide from the world in fear any longer, She never goes out of the house where they lived and she never shows herself anywhere with out a cap, sun shade and a baggy jacket on. Through Lance they meet a man that will change Sapphire’s whole life and is the answer to her mother’s prayers. Revenge is sweet. Canvas enjoying a smoke as she thinks about her new life and her plans. / ( this is just an idea of what she might look like.) / / / Copyright / These Images and Writings Do Not Belong To ANY Public Domain. • this is another image that I posted not long after I came to RB and discovered a new world of friends and hopes…strange how dreams can come and go, and yet never really leave the heart and mind… in the Garden of Light all dreams are fulfilled, and no true beauty need be masked from view… made for a fine friend, then… just a re-iteration to share Peace, now… / This brilliant bloom is offered to all and any that may need a flower to shatter a stony heart… sometimes it is so much easier than it seems, when seen without a veil of fears and tears… / And so I add this music video and it’s words to accompany this image… The Flower That Shattered The Stone – John Denver {by Joe Henry and John Jarvis} The Earth is our mother / Just turning around / With her trees in the forest / And roots underground / Our father above us / Whose sigh is the wind / Paint us a rainbow / Without any end As the river runs freely / The mountain does rise / Let me touch with my fingers / And see with my eyes / In the hearts of the children / A pure love still grows / Like a bright star in Heaven / That lights our way home / Like the flower that shattered the stone A sparrow finds freedom / Beholding the sun / In the infinite beauty / We’re all joined in one / I reach out before me / And look to the sky / Did I hear someone whisper / Did something pass by As the river runs freely / The mountain does rise / Let me touch with my fingers / And see with my eyes / In the hearts of the children / A pure love still grows / Like a bright star in Heaven / That lights our way home / Like the flower that shattered the stone Like a bright star in Heaven / That lights our way home / Like the flower that shattered the stone :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: “In the infinite beauty / We’re all joined in one…” :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Apophysis 2.08 – 7000×7000px thanks for the look, my friends! • I don’t have the words to say how I feel about all the horrors of the bushfires in Victoria that have been and are still being afflicted not only on the people who live there but also the animals except that my heart aches and sometimes I can’t stop the tears in my eyes from falling … especially especially for all the animals who lived there that had no chance to escape … when I designed this fractal what I saw were koalas rising above the devastation below … there must be a heaven for these poor creatures .. little angel koalas … please please open your heart and do whatever you can to help our animal cousins —Wildlife-Appeal Profile —Wildlife-Appeal RB Group —Wildlife-Appeal Bubblesite —- All profits from the sale of this work will be donated to Wildlife Appeal. —- work done in Sterling2 with post work in PaintShopPro and Gimp. • Coloured Pencil and Ink on 280 gsm Glass Ivory Paper - / (40cm x 60cm) Worked on this one for over a week, through the wee small hours of the mornings. All my art is cathartic, it’s how I balance my life, creating is my reason to go on. When I’m up I create, when I’m down I create, creativity is my balance. I did this as one of my first experiments into coloured pencil art, and found the whole ‘colouring in’ process so very relaxing and calming. I couldn’t help but feel happyness and joy while doing this. I spent every moment I could as a child, laying on my tummy, drawing, colouring. Nothing has changed, I’m still laying on my tummy, drawing, colouring (lol) Views: 703 as at 25-11-2009 / Favourites: 38 as at 25-11-2009 FEATURED in ‘Coloured Pencil Art’ (June 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Fantastic Primitive Art’(June 2009) / FEATURED in ‘First Things’ (June 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Hand Drawn or Painted Art of Happiness & Joy’ (June 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Freedom to Shine’ (June 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Fantastic Primitive Art’ (July 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Colour Me a Rainbow’ (July 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Creative Cards’ (July 2009) / FEATURED In ‘Globes, Spheres and Curves’ (July 2009) / FEATURED in ‘The New Beat Generation’ (August 2009) / FEATURED in ‘Spectacular Spirals’ August, 2009 / FEATURED in ‘Healing through Art’ November, 2009 / FEATURED in ‘Oh so emotional (happy)’ November, 2009 / FEATURED in ‘Healing through art (HTA)’ November, 2009 / FEATURED in ‘Impressionism Cafe’ December 2009 /

  • Could the universe have a soul, and we are that soul with the entire cosmos for a body? ~Ernesto Cardinale ~ I absolutely love Cosmos – the flower and the outer state, they are both simply confusingly abundant with life and beauty. The Cosmoses remind me how small we really are on the great world we stand on, how significantly insignificant we are yet together create something beautiful, a unique pattern for each section, like our DNA. Just love the thought provoking beauty of it! / This is an edited version of the one below: /
