I love my morning walks a lot, especially at dawn.

It was a last minute decision to pop out before dinner and take a few shots. I had to do it as all day there were very limited photo opportunities. Boy was I glad that I popped out….a great scene greeted me….mirror like reflections and magical light…only if I didn’t deliberate for so long….. Agathe had arthritis all over her poor body ,she couldn’t stand it .Sometimes she was just raging of pain .She passed away the 14 of april .I wasn’t there to say goodbye but I’m sure she knows her hands will finaly be on R.B.I asked her for some shots of her twisted fingers and she agreeded with such pleasure ,she asked me several times when I was going to do it .I went to see her just in time a week ago.She was so weak that she couldn’t hold to little butterfly.I felt so sad but at the same time I was happy that she used the rest of her strenth to do that shot she wanted so much.She was always on oxygene and stayed still all day long the last few weeks.I ‘m sure she’s not suffering anymore .By! Bye! Agathe…xx

Shot this with my Canon Rebel XT, 18-55 mm lens in natural light from a window. Cropped in closer than original version to give more focus to the dog and pie. Painted the photo with Corel Painter Essentials 4, thick paint, a selection of different brushes such as tapered camel, captured bistle. The model is my faithful sidekick, Skye. We adopter her from the local rescue shelter, the day after Christmas a few years ago. She has been faithfully at my side ever since! :) / Skye is a Jack Russell terrier female.

This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother.
