This artwork was featured in Inspired By Poetry, HALLOWEEN, and Color Me A Rainbow Won the Best Of Pink challenge Definitely a departure from my usual stuff. And colour. I had a real strong desire to go blue with this as usual, but there was something about a warm colour that made the message come across more clearly. Inspired by the last stanza of a beautiful poem called “Life” by George Herbert (1593-1633). Farewell, dear flowers, sweetly your time ye spent, / Fit, while ye lived, for smell or ornament, / And after death for cures. / I follow straight without complaints or grief, / Since if my scent be good, I care not, if / It be as short as yours. ....Stock Credits….* / Sky/Field/Road / Death / Stock copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

Magnolia falls like butterflies from the sky… From my TtV (Through the Viewfinder) series. The dust, scratches and blur from the vintage camera give a lovely old effect. Camera: Kodak Duaflex

This image is a departure from my normal style, but I wanted to try a vintage look.
