A little yellow boat working its way across Derwentwater offsetting the perfect symmetrical reflection of pink clouds and blue sky in the lake, looking towards Catbells. Taken as the sun was rising early one autumn morning, at Friar’s Crag , Keswick, Lake District . Hasselblad , Fuji Velvia slide film.

I had a real strong desire to go blue with this as usual, but there was something about a warm colour that made the message come across more clearly. Inspired by the last stanza of a beautiful poem called “Life” by George Herbert (1593-1633).
