These girls from the foothills of the Kulu Valley (india) spied me trying to capture them more naturally and immediately struck the classic ‘foto?’ pose. The taller girl had some mixed feelings about whether to smile or not, but her friend was not so reserved. The ‘trying not to smile’ expression on the child’s face is what makes me revisit this image. (Nikon F SLR film camera – 105 mm / Kodak Ektachrome).
Don’t worry, the little mouse is safe… WHY?... It’s obvious, isn’t it?...or havn’t they made up their minds yet? It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Enjoy.
