Who can resist this gorgeous Newfie puppy, bathed in the colours of the rainbow and sunshine? He’s sure to bring a smile to any dog lovers face! I really wanted to bring out the playfulness of this Newfoundland puppy and found decided that some bold and colourful pastels would be the perfect medium. This piece is a lot looser and more painterly compared to my normal highly detailed level of realism, but I certainly had fun painting it! I was fascinated by this upside down butterfly as it fed on pink penta blossoms. It was a rather dull shade of brown compared to the colorful background so I thought I’d give it a little makeover and came up with this photoshop version I’ve named Butterfly Magic. I think it’s kind of sweet looking.

This is a very close-up photograph of a C.D. with water droplets on it. It has had some manipulation (curves and +11 on saturation) plus slight cropping. It has had a PS filter layered onto the bottom half to give an extreme ‘sound wave’ effect!! / I have a whole series of similar shots. Enjoy…...

Made in UltraFractal 5. We had our first snow for the new season the night before I made this, although it only dusted the mountains, not making it down to the level of the valley. I thought this fractal was fitting for the cold weather.
