The flowers photographed in this image where also from my garden. / Photographing grasshoppers was new to me when I found this little guy in my garden, he was so green and cute I had to try and get a photo of him. / He didn’t sit still for long, I had a few seconds, but when he looked straight at me I knew (hoped) this is going to be very special. On this image I used a Canon Digital SLR with a Canon 100mm macro and of course a very sturdy tripod. / Photographed in the highlands of Tasmania, Australia. / So much fun! No animal was harmed in this photo. I have never seen this more true than my own life. Heart Built on Tears These are individually placed waterdrops on a CD. The colors come from how the light is refracted on the surface. Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer,both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity.
