Designed as a special request for a guy who doesn’t like pigeons.
From the Carnivalesque series – a little tee (Originally only available in white – since the quality of the image was much clearer. However I’m making other colours available as an experiment. The white areas are lost on the colour, which I don’t particularly like – but if you do then I won’t stop you from buying one!)
tshirt version of one of my fav subjects. / / I love birds, and would love to have them as pets-but know it’s best that they are free. So as close to being pets as they can be-they are fairly domesticated, allowing me to be that close. / / So on a creative venture over the Apec long weekend, i finally did properly photographs these birds I walk past every day. / / I’ve seen the birds sitting in the desolate deciduous trees around the shopping centre for ages, and taken a mobile snap of them a few weeks ago. / / Kinda unfortunately, now spring is here, the leaves have come out-so it’s no longer the sparse tree, with odd shapes of the birds, and little ‘seeds’ hanging down. but this lovely bird couple posed quite nicely-and it did the trick-before the battery ran out! / ~ / Reminds of me…a domestic little couple, paired for life!
An updated version of the original, which has been moved from Artnepo’s page. AUD5.00 from the sale of each t-shirt is donated to the PigeOn Club of New York City. For more on the PigeOn Club, click here. Happy times!
As a photographer you see things others normally dont see, even if you dont make a cent selling your work; the only thing that matters is if your able to share your vision.

The pigeon had flown into a window and died. I took a photo, sketched it, and entered it in my portfolio as “still life.”

Title is from the song London Calling by the Clash. I cut and glued an old map (of london) on to the outlines of parliament, and added some digital things as well.

Relating to the quote, ‘Accept that some days you’re the pigeon and some days you’re the statue’, by Dilbert, this t-shirt has a photograph of a pigeon with the second half of that quotation. Perfect for cynics and pessimists, amongst others!
