This is one of my most loved pieces. It is a very popular art work, and I could never part with it, so I’ve decided to sell it as prints and t-shirts. / It was painted with acrylic on canvas. The original is approximately 13(cm)x18(cm). / It was painted on 14 July 2006. This was my first attempt at a vintage nude! I am a great fan of vintage nude art work; photography and paintings. Ode to weathered, faded and peeling halls Ode to heat-waves and hail and dark driven storms Ode to passers by, drunks and dogs who love walls Ode to Life.
Sometimes a soft wind blows / and scatters the very fragments of you life all over the page.. / and sometimes, if you are very lucky, someone comes to you / and helps you to put the picture back together again. It may be a different picture, / but who’s to say its not equally beautiful.. and occassionally even more so!
We all have defense mechanisms in effect to keep us from getting hurt. Thats what the dragon represents. However you notice hes starting to tear the heart apart. Thats because defense mechanisms are double edged sword. Sometimes we hurt ourselves trying to protect ourselves.

The Pieces of Heritage / art and photo manipulation This art was direct influence from my visit to “Kantojir Mondir” -a 16th century temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. / The temple made up of terracotta tiles. Every single one is different. They tell the story from Hindu epics and depicts the different events, lifestyle of contemporary (16th century) society, political economical conditions. Tiles also contains stories from Buddhism and flowers and motifs. / I was really moved by the beauty and intensity above all its secular approach…it made me proud of my heritage… / This art is truly the pieces of my heritage. . /

Such an old game, such a strategic game. I go to Hyde park in Sydney and watch these guys, homeless people play one guy had no shoes another was slick as anything with his glasses on. It proved a couple of things to me one was that it is great a game thats right a GAME can bring homeless and the working class together in an old fashion war of the brains. And the other is that there is a reason why people are homeless and we may never no the real story but they are very smart as well. The Pursuit of Happyness…
