  • A fractal piece for “Last Rendez-vous” A very sad song, with good reason. Rendez-vous was made in 1986, the year of the Challenger Disaster. When Jarre visited NASA in Houston, he became friends when Ron McNire, one of the astronauts, and they became so much so, that Jarre asked McNire to perform the saxophone part of this song when Challenger was in space at the time of the concert. It would became a new Guinness World Record, ‘the First Performer to Perform in a Conert in Space’. After the disaster, there was a huge period of mourning that the concert in Houston was postponed to a later date. When, after two weeks, the concert was performed, Jean Michel dedicated this song in McNire’s name, forever known as Ron’s Piece. Again with the multiple layer effects, I love doing it, and, just like ‘Ethnicolor 2’, glass hemispheres on top of each other, a nice effect.

  • A fractal piece of the Aero version of “Last Rendez-vous” No clip for this piece. The effects here are pretty good, and one is hard to pick up. Three layers, three hemi-spheres. The heart waves are an effect I’ve been adding since the piece had a sample of a heartbeat, and very nice touch to the song and the picture.

  • It’s based on Kurt Cobain’s artwork. Got me an A! I’m too tired to explain it at the moment so I’ll just let my art speak for itself.
