  • Naples Hills
    by Paul Vanzella

    US$7.49–US$171.00

Landing in Naples I was confronted by this vision of a blend of classical hillside with majestic buildings on top and the contrast of high density apartments and buildings, which are made up of little graphic squares upon graphic squares and plain concrete with minimal window frames. This just caught my eye – and I was fascinated with this mixture of styles just sitting there in the one place!

  • Florence
    by Alyson Pearson

    US$5.49–US$125.40

I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy when I was 19, this was taken as just a naive snap happy photo on my dodgy old-school camera and I’ve cleaned it up and added some oomph in photoshop. (It’s better if you click on the image to see a larger view)

  • A Conversation With the Clouds Captured at an elevation of 11,990 ft (3,655 m), standing atop Loveland Pass is like being able to touch heaven and the clouds. When I captured this, the slight hint of the scent of snow was in the air, and conditions up here can change literally by the second. It is right along the Continental Divide, and the views from up here are simply paradise! Processed in HDR and captured on my Minolta 5D using a Minolta 18-200 DT Lens and a Hoya Polarizer http://www.redbubble.com/products/configure/5778657

  • I love photographing in bad weather, there is just something about the drama of it all that amazes me, and this was of no exception. Garden of the Gods outside of Colorado Springs is the location, a place which, is simply magical and unlike anywhere else on Earth…the light here is the best I have ever seen, and even when there is none, it still holds it own. Captured this past early spring, where at the higher elevations the clouds brought snow, but where I was at, it was rain. Processed in HDR with final output through PS. / Thoughts welcomed! —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. • A Morning Stroll At the Lake Every now and then we almost miss a shot, and luckily this time I happened to turn around as I was walking back to my car from shooting the sunrise and had this scene greet me. Captured at Cherry Creek State Park outside of Denver, Colorado, the light seemed to almost dance among the trees. Processed in HDR

  • Garden Of the Gods Park, outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is without a doubt one of my all time favorite places to shoot at….the light there just dances, especially during the golden hours just after sunrise…..Pike’s Peak is in the background, with the wind blowing the snow into the sky. / Thoughts welcomed! • I have always these flowers, and I love em even more when the sun hits them at just that right moment and really makes them pop. Hope you all enjoy this one, it is a personal favorite of mine John

  • Winter rolls along in the Colorado High Country along the Mount Evans Wildernes. I decided to do this shot in B&W because I really wanted to emphasize the cold, the drama, and the atmosphere as a whole. Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated! / —John

  • This past week saw me shooting like crazy, making a record 3 trips to the Mount Evans Wilderness Area and surrounding areas in 4 days. Without a doubt, this scene is one that just has to smack travelers and tourists in the face. situated at 10,600 ft (3,230 m) above sea level, the view literally comes out of no where. You round this corner unexpectedly on a twisty road, and all the sudden out of no where you are greeted with this huge lake and THIS scene of mountains and it floors you. The scene itself is just so, well, incredible, like something you usually only see in a fine art painting, or in some distant land in National Geographic….honestly, it is one of the most amazing views I believe I have ever seen. Personally I much prefer it to The Maroon Bells which is better known, and why it’s better known is beyond me. / So hang tight folks, I have MANY new photos to come and share with you all. Let me know what ya all think!

  • The Brace of Pheasants
    by A90Six

    US$4.19–US$95.76

Featured in Live, Love, Dream 5th Nov, 2008. / This is a beautiful thatched pub/restaurant, The Brace of Pheasants in Plush, Dorset. They have a wonderful menu and I was about to eat there, but, unfortunately, arrived at 15:05 and the kitchens closed at 15:00. Oh well, maybe next time. / The pub ‘sign’ is not a sign at all but an illuminated glass cabinet containing a brace of stuffed pheasants – a cock and a hen. I don’t know how long the glass box has been up there, but I know it wouldn’t be five minutes outside a London pub before some senseless yob would throw a brick at it.

  • Summit Lake
by John De Bord Photography IPA

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Towering above at 13,001 feet in altitude, Summit Lake is breathtaking. Showcasing Mount Evans in the background, it displays wildflowers which are found no where else on earth except the arctic circle. Captured in the morning light and processed in HDR, I really wanted to scene to come to life. • Colorado is certainly known for it’s parks, and this one I happened upon out of the blue one day….it really is a majestic site, with these odd rock formations just jetting straight up from the earth, as if reaching for the sky. I was also lucky enough to capture the distant clouds as they were building for afternoon thunderstorms, later that day….spose you can say I like the sense of drama that they add to the image overall. / HDR processed, thoughts most welcomed! —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. • Country Lake Thunderstorms One of the things I have come to really value about living in Colorado is the ability to be able to get a little “off the beaten path”, as we say, in the matter of no time. You add that in with the element of having some of the changing weather anywhere, and you just never know what you will happen upon. Take this scene here, the clouds, so dark, came out of no where and fast, with the rumble of thunder, captured outside of Evergreen, Colorado, this storm would later be the very same storm which caused havoc with Tornado’s and ripped the town of Windsor to shreds. Glad I wasn’t around anywhere when that happened, considering how much they scare the heck outta me! It was a much calmer scene when I photographed it here, and an lake/pond that was not named. It ws actually quite serene and tranquil…. Processed in HDR, output through Lightroom/Photomatic/LucisArt/Photoshop / Thoughts welcomed / —-John

  • Long Ago
    by Lydia Marano

    US$4.32–US$98.80

Impressionist view of tall, bare golden trees against a blue sky.

  • Outside of The Mount Evans Wilderness at Echo Lake, Colorado As the title suggests, nothing but clean, fresh mountain air at an altitude of 10,600 feet high! Processed in HDR, your thought are welcomed!

  • Little Lakes Valley is one of my favorite places to visit. It gets kinda crowded in the summer but if you go late enough in the day it clears out. On this day the crowds were especially light because it was raining on and off. I took this on my way back to the trailhead from a long hike to Treasure Lakes. I saw this lone wildflower in the meadow and it lured me in. The flower is called lupine and it usually flourishes here in spring.
