Storm clouds clearing, and the sun rays from the mountains just thought it was all so beautiful. Just an amazing sight had to stop and get this shot. I took this shot in the Northern California area, better known as the Sierra Nevada’s. Who would have thought you could see such great wildlife in the wilds of California. This photo was taken on Hwy 395 near Lone Pine, not far from Bishop. I just think this area is so beautiful and looks different in every season. Today was great with the clouds and the lighting.

Here’s a pictorial challenge for you – try and pick which of these is the full moon. I shot this about an hour before dawn, simply by adjusting my focus so that I had a blur instead of a crisp image! It was a foggy start to the day and I had just pulled over to shoot a couple of images when this offbeat concept occurred to me. I had just got back in the car and this shot was literally taken from the driver’s seat before I resumed driving. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot in Melbourne in 2007, with a Pentax K100D using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F4.5, 1/6 sec, ISO 800, focal length 58mm. 13-6946

This image of my wife and daughter, Was he only print in the history to score a perfect “100” score from all juges at the “PPof O” and “PPof A” print competition. The print was also slected to be displayed in the International Traveling Loan Collection, the “Epcot Center” and “The International Professional Photographers Hall of Fame” exhibit. I can vividly remember hyper ventalating and almost passing out when I saw the print scores being displayed during judging. The highlight of my photography career.
