Taken at Pickering Station, I couldn’t really work it to look as an old shot, not with the diesel in shot, but at least even that is old. / This is the start of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, the main workshops are in Grosmont. STEAM AND RAIL SET

esk valley is just that, but here it is the site of the village of…esk valley. this is between grosmont and goathland, the former being the start of the north york moors railway, which runs to pickering, on the edge of the moors, on a daily basis, through the north yorks moors national park. best viewed large!

The statues seem to enjoy the skin pickers. Why the skin grows is not fully known. Perhaps the statues are seeking the skin pickers and lure them with fresh patches of skin.
