Even though everything else around him moves forward through time, he sits in a realm of infinity, a place with no time, no future no past. He will never die, yet, he has never lived… He has no other role but to protect the rules that make up time, to keep them in place, so that we will never understand or comprehend a place without time. We are born, we live and we die, through out the coarse of time… Without time, there is no order. Something or someone, must make sure these rules are not broken… He is, The Keeper Of Time.

This is a shot of the Austin capitol building. It was done by using a few of my own photographs. It is part of the “April Dee Collection”.

A place between here and there, a place to meditate, a place to reflect :)
Using photoshop CS4 I changed the photo using Bas Relief in textures. Camera: Canon EOS 1000D / Shutter: 1/500 / Aperture: f/8.0 / Focal length: 240mm / ISO: 200
This image is included in my / 2010 BEST OF DOMESTIC ART CALENDAR Taking pictures of things that I find around the house and turning them into something entirely different in Photoshop is one of my favorite pastimes. The original photograph is of a small statue, a head composed of mother-of-pearl fragments. I broke the side of it off years ago, but held onto it (sometimes being a pack rat DOES pay off). I posterized the head and replaced the background with my own digital paint brush creation in order to match the desired style. / If you like this image, you might also enjoy: Face Off Moon Over Orthodox Phantom Sunrise Thanks for looking! /
