I spotted this couple having their photoshoot when I was about at least a clear 70m away. Snapped it and converted it with some blur to the background while keeping the couple sharp. Love how their height is set against the relatively gigantic pillars

I think…as photographers we can all relate to this scene. We’ll all LIVE until we get that final shot that we REALLY like…and ‘even then’...we won’t rest until we have that BEST shot, right? LOL I saw this ensemble in an antique store window in Brentwood, CA. I did some cropping, lighting and other bits of photo editing to get it this way. Sleep is but a distant memory so I decided to look through some of the thousands of photos in my computer. I stumbled across the photo shoot that I did with my girls in the October school holidays. I had set up a studio in my loungeroom at home and the girls dressed up and posed for the camera. We had a ball as Axel would keep running into the shot or taking off with the tripod. These are a couple of the images from that day. There are tears streaming down my face as I remember this day with laughter and smiles…

Today Helen McLean and I met up to take some photos at her place. That was until we had a streak of craziness and decided to uproot the whole shoot and head into the city. You certainly get some strange looks when you lug around a red armchair on a saturday afternoon amidst hundreds of city goers. Anyway, Helen is slowly getting through all the post production and as each shot goes up I’ll add it to this entry rather than clogging everyone’s activity monitors.
