What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. Whew… it’s now 2:00 a.m. and I’m done with this. Including make-up and taking the photo of myself, photoshop, etc 4 1/2 hours of work. I felt the need to make something. I haven’t made a single new piece of art since September and I felt out of touch with myself (yeah everything so far that I’ve poster was “older” work). This is pretty much the vision I had, not quite what I wanted, but my artwork usually never ends up exactly as I had wanted it. I love it regardless. I originally wanted hot pink hair but couldn’t find the right wig that I own that would work for that. This character is kinda like the controller of time, the god Chronos or also known as “Pluto” the god of death and time. Living at the end of time, if you make it angry it’ll warp you into another dimension lol.

This is my first photomanipulation I have done in years. I figured I would go with something simple. Brushes: hair, wings, flowers, photo texture. Another photo manipulation, this one was inspired by a situation my friend was in, I decided to cheer him up with a digital present. It’s about not giving up of search for truelove/happiness. The face might be rusting away but it’s still looking, still hoping. / Currently working on an oil painting of this with brown eye colouring rather than blue for a monochromatic look. See this in Oils! This Piece has been nominated to be showcased in Pay It Forward / by Celia Coulter and this is what they had to say about your image: ‘Why do I love it, I guess the textures, the colours and for whatever undefinable reason that the artwork inspires a sense of wonder in me.’

I got really bored for a bit this afternoon, had a fleeting thought, then played around. I’m not really sure how I feel about this one yet. I gave it an almosted painted feel to it, you can’t really see the detail in the previews here that you can full size.
