This was taken late 06 on a south bound snow mission in new zealand, it was blowing 90+km wind, my friend would not get out of the car, so i had to put my tripod hard up agaisnt me and hang on!!!!.....................hard work pays off eh??!!....

THIS IS A BIG IMAGE VIEW LARGER FOR BEST RESULTS This shot was taken from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at sunset, it was created from 5 bracketed images using a Nikon D300 fitted with a Nikon 18-200mm. No filters were used. The rock formations to the left are known as “The Three Sisters” the image was taken at sunrise looking past the Sisters certainly have a great view. The Blue Mountains are located 2 hours west of Sydney by road, also by train for visitors to Sydney, there are also organised day trips via motor coach that will take you to the area for the day…. though if you have the time spend a few days in the area. You can see all the attractions, have a devonshire tea in one of the many teahouses, or sit on the edge of the valley that seems to go on forever, and listen to the birdlife. Bushwalking is a must !

Just playing around in PSP with a photo of my daughter Kassidy in a pensive mood, I couldn’t help but think how she looked old beyond her years, and she made me think of the Child Empress in The Neverending Story I and how she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. A little tweaking and playing with several different photos and this is the result! :) All resources used my own, taken on my Canon Powershot A480 point and shoot. A little help from the generous Trisste for a slight emphasis on the lashes.
