Canal of Dreams featured in The One Great Shot Group 2008. For the longest time I dreamed of a wild adventure in Italy. In April 2008 that dream became an extraordinary reality. With heightened, rich, vibrant colours canal of dreams creates an almost painterly impression of beautiful Venice. Canal of dreams is a personal favourite. It is a reminder of the adventure of a lifetime, the many bridges I crossed and the memories that linger on. I hope one day to return to my Canal of dreams. (c)sooz2008

I had a vision to turn my colorful bug images into sepia toned black and white images with a touch of color. But didn’t know how, until today….. This was taken up at the Ornamental Gardens in Summerland BC, shortly prior to my run-in with the sleeping bears. I was sad to cut my photo taking short, as the colours were absolutely crazy beautiful! This is a very busy image…...and it breaks all the rules…..but what the heck :)
