Twelve months of flowers from the garden – all in gorgeous color.
Colourful tulips from the 2008 Tulip Time festival in the Southern Highlands, NSW.
I bought a pot of red tulips with the intention of planting them in my garden but when I got home…....... I could not stop myself. All that was in my mind was my obsession, MUST GET MORE PHOTOS! I was amazed at how many ways there were to take a picture of a tulip. I was saddened as the end drew near, but I peered through the viewfinder and still found beauty to capture.
A collection of infra-red images.
This calendar is inspired by the beauty of the natural world and features a wide variety of beautiful flowers and plants photographed all over Scotland. With the exception of the hothouse flower the Bird of Paradise which is grown in Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens, all of the plants photographed grow in the soil of Scotland and include Scottish poppies, roses, daisies, peonies, tulips and mushrooms.
