An experiment with water droplets, glitter, a CD, wrapping paper and light. I had some metallic paper reflecting in the CD and the flash from my camera made it very interesting with all the glitter. This is the kind of thing I do when it’s too cold to go outside…. haha. Enjoy!

When *owlspook featured my image, I was asked did it have a name, so for owlspook….................. Let us call this world ” Aliens Dream” for thats what it really is, its in a galaxy far, far, away, its where my alien mind dwells, I just add the yeast and watch them rise, my dreams. Simply put … daisies are my favorite flower so this photo was done a little selfishly just for me! Taken with Canon Powershot I have also used this photograph as a design for a business card, which I have been selling through my Zazzle account.

My new found love in photography is mixing layers and layers of images. I have already had some wonderful finds of layered work in reflections but this kind of editing brings it to a whole other level. Finding what works well with another image is a challenge. But one that I enjoy very much. I have learned the in’s and out’s of working with layers by trial and error. If you’re thinking of giving this a try, I hope you will give your self time and not worry about the failures. The result is so worth the frustration of figuring it all out!! /
