  • I have taken this double exposure with my toycamera Holga on film. / The cityview is taken from Eureka sky deck in Melbourne. / This beautiful sentence was tagged on a house in Brunswick near mine, but a week later the owner gave it a clean… / With this photo I can always remember it. (no digital manipulation here)

  • A single drop of water. So small and overlooked. Yet heavy enough to leave an impression on a delicate rose petal. Our massive ecosystem, a fragile element of everyday life.

  • The Robber Fly is one of my favorite macro subjects. They have so much character. Very interesting to study as well. They actually catch their prey in mid air. This particular robber was only about 3/4 inch long. His meal was exceptionally small. I didn’t know he had until I looked through the lens.

  • A little abstract-ish macro.

  • Two more in the series after this one… Enjoy!!

  • Click on thumbnails to see more gypsophila (baby’s breath) images. Ten thousand flowers in spring / the moon in autumn, / a cool breeze in summer, / snow in winter. / If your mind isn’t clouded by unnecessary things, / this is the best season of your life. / Wu-men

  • A fading bloom in my garden… the petals would curl up at the end of it’s life cycle.

  • grayish-green, like an unripe olive / •(of the complexion) yellowish brown; sallow part of a ttv (through the viewfinder) series Theory: / TTV (Through The Viewfinder) photography is when you use an old medium format camera and a digital camera. / These old medium format twin reflex cameras have large viewfinders. Firstly you compose your image using the medium format camera (in my case i have used a mamiya c33) then you actually take the picture using a digital camera (here i use my pentax K10) of what is in the viewfinder of the old camera.
