Atlanta’s Famous Varsity restaurant is a landmark and a classic old drive-in restaurant with nearly 80 years of history. The world’s largest drive-in is a second home to those coming to see Georgia Tech play and one of the many Icons of Atlanta, capital of the south. Great print for Atlanta’s residents, visitors, and Georgia Tech alums all over. Awarded Best Use of Color / 2006 My Atlanta Competition / Atlanta Celebrates Photography

This sign has fascinated me for many years. For as long as I can remember, it has always been edited by members of the public to read ‘Footscrayzy’. Every now and then the council come along and clean it off or replace the sign – then within a few weeks it appears again. Usually it’s handwritten, but now it seems that stencilling is quicker and easier than hand scribing. Cnr Orford Road and Waverley Street, Essendon, VIC

Another ratty Infrared photo shot with a battered old Olympus OM1 while zooming around in a little zodiac in the frozen oceans of the Antarctic Peninsular. Another mysterious something captured in the clear blue sky and found later on the negative. Not going to put in the big rant this time. But I do believe that there are signs of the gods all around us should we choose to just open ourselves to them. Could this be one of them? Who knows but its certinally a strange thing to find hovering about in the sky and I for one am open to alternative explainations of what it may be or might symbolize….....:)
