  • This one was taken a while ago as one of my first attempts at long exposure.. I love photography!!

  • Tommy’s Joynt is a traditional diner in San Francisco. I thought it was a great place to get a hamburger and a beer in surroundings with far more colour and atmosphere than any fast food chain could ever manage.

  • I found this unique looking plant at a park in San Francisco (Golden Gate Park, to be exact). I love not only the symmetry but the geometry of this plant and it’s uniqueness because I’ve never seen anything else like this. This photo was asked to be used in as the cover of a children’s science book in South America. I didn’t use any Photoshop at all on this image. Just a tiny bit of Picasa! The plant is the same color as it appears in real life.

  • San Ignacio Lagoon is one of the best places in the world to see Gray whales and their calves up close. During the calving season you can go out into the lagoon in a small boat (called a panga), and after a short wait, the whale mum and calf will come up to you. They (mainly the calf) love to rub themselves against the boats and also to be scratched! You really get a close up look into their eyes! Then, just when you start to feel at one with each them, they blow salt water in your face and all over your camera! But it’s worth it!!! / / You may also get to see some great breaching too. / / (San Ignacio Lagoon – Baja California) / / / >< / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
