Hi all, Have just uploaded the final pic’s to my series on the wheatbelt area of Western Australia. By all accounts, they have been enjoyed by bubblers. It has put a big smile on my face to share them with you all and receive such a warm response in return – many thanks for the kind comments and sales. Cheers / Grant.

Street photography has a wide range of subjects and themes. Some can show children, deep in their own worlds. Some show just random people, walking by or trying to make a living on a street. Most people don’t look around. Most people don’t care what’s going on within others. It’s not easy to show empathy. I know that. It’s easier to not think about others because then we can feel better about ourselves. I don’t expect everyone suddenly to care. No. It’s not my point. Street photographers are a strange breed. They walk around, they saunter, they wonder, they search and stare and then maybe shoot. They see what most people don’t want to see. Then, when we look at the photos, we only know the story that a photographer would share with us. Most likely it’s not the whole story just because they can’t know people’s thoughts, feelings, they can only guess. We can guess. And tell our own story. Think what could happen, how it will affect those people, try to imagine. In my opinion it’s not about what happened when we look at the picture. it’s about what we feel, how it will affect us and what we will do with it.
