In 2007 I was commissioned to photograph a new resort near Port Alfred, South Africa. As part of the “deal”, I was to be provided with transportation to go off on my own to see a bit of the region. Hayama is a beautiful town in Japan renowned for it’s beaches and green hills. This is where I did my internship during the summer of 2007. I was going through my Japan pics recently and uploaded a few for this calendar; though some are already published in my portfolio including the following: Cover: Ha(ishi)yama / May: Sunshine on Hayama’s sea / August: Mt.
