Infinite future chaos – “whats that?” i here you say, / its the way we shape our future by how we live today, / the way we live our lives has a knock on effect, / we should give this world of ours some love and respect. Freak weather, wars, global warming, hurricanes and nature dying, / destruction, rainforests dissapearing, children starving, children crying, / riots, warfare, guns, chemical waste, nuclear bombs and anarchy, / extinction of animals, genetics, clones, who is it down to, powers that be?. Just think of our children, how will they survive, what will they see?, / lets all make changes so they can be happy and free, / who knows what the future holds but its down to me and you, / im just thankful i wont be around and bet that you are too.
For many of us, boats hold a special magic; the promise of adventure, freedom or just a good day fishing. This jukong was resting on the shores of Home Island, Cocos Islands. A calm and quite moment, yet I’m sure this boat could tell a tale or two of the sea, the elements and the people it has carried. Home Island, Cocos Islands, Australia
Taken quite some time ago with an older camera but always one of my favorite sunrises…..........This was after a horrendous storm and it was very quiet, very still, almost peaceful…..the smell of rain was still in the air and there was just a hint of sulpher. The amount of lightning which accompanied this storm was a sight to behold; unfortunately I haven’t mastered the art of capturing lightning. / I hope you enjoy this. / / ____ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. My photography class was on a class trip to Iran, we were a bus full of photography students traveling from Tehran to Sheeraz and the sun is setting surrounded by these gorgeous clouds. We convinced the driver to stop at the side of the road as we all piled out of the bus camera’s in hand. If only someone had thought of getting a shot of twenty something twenty years olds standing at the side of the road shooting the sunset.

A sunrise of this immense beauty is a true rarity and I am thrilled to be able to share this with the redbubble community! The photo shows the beach in downtown Port Orford, Oregon near our home, with the color-bathed waves of the Pacific rolling ashore and the misted coastal mountains silhouetted against the gorgeous morning sky. The photo is unedited and reflects the intense colors and spectacular scenery exactly as it was witnessed! (Nikon D700, Nikkor DX 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Lens, Settings f/4.5, 1/80th, ISO 200, 40 mm)

Just another day …...... Rota Island – August 2009 / straight out of the camera / Life on this island is friendly and unhurried and the hospitality is as unforgettable as the magical sunsets. Rota Island is a natural playground with around 3000 inhabitants and is known by many to be Micronesia’s best-kept secret / Rota (Chamoru: Luta) also known as the “peaceful island”, is the southernmost island of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the second southernmost of the Marianas Archipelago. It lies approximately 40 miles north-northeast of the United States territory of Guam. Songsong village is the largest and most populated followed by Sinapalo village (Sinapalu). In 1521, the first European to see Rota, was the lookout on Magellan’s ship Victoria, Lope Navarro. However, Magellan’s Armada of three ships didn’t stop until they reached Guam, so the first European to arrive in Rota (in 1524), was Spanish navigator Juan Sebastian Elcano, who annexed it together with the rest of the Marianas Archipelago on behalf of the Crown of Spain. Rota has diverse flora and fauna.. / Wikipedia ©2009/2010 Globalphotos All rights reserved. / All photographs, text and images by Globalphotos are the exclusive property of Globalphotos – protected under Australian and international copyright laws. / These images may not be reproduced, copied or manipulated without written permission. / No use for Public Domain. / Use of any image for another photographic concept or illustration is a violation of copyright.
