Hosted 812 children from New York’s most impoverished neighborhoods for 11 days of adventure at Mont Lawn Camp in the Pocono Mountains. Supported the academic, leadership, and moral development of more than 165 children attending four After-School Programs and 80 children in two Summer Day Camps. Mentored 53 teenagers through our Leadership Academy program. Leveraged generous donor support with more than 31,000 hours of volunteer service and more than $1.3 million of in-kind gifts. Providing hope, healing, and a whole new life for New York’s homeless residents. Transforming lives from hopelessness to hope and from dependency to lasting productivity. Creating new opportunities for children from New York City’s toughest areas.

Parque Nacional de Los Glaciales, El Chalten ( Argentina ) ! After hiking a few hours I came across this beautiful scene, at least for me. Although I could feel like a sense of desolation at the same time I loved the scenery in front of me. / It may look a quite a simple shot.. and it was… but I was so exhausted that I really struggled to take my camera and press the bottom. / I think I could have taken fantastic pictures here just my body and my mind were too tired !

This is a lake down the street from my home. There’s very little movement in the water and it gets overgrown with lily pads. It’s a wonderful area for all the local water fowl and pond life. Large amounts of fresh water mussels are produced in this pond which attract a lot of animals. Today I saw a huge heron sitting on the other side of the lake. It was too far away for my camera lens but my neighbor mentioned it was in my yard earlier this morning when I was out. All of the beautiful Fall colors have not fully arrived in Northern New Jersey yet but some areas change over early like Hopper’s Crooked Pond, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. © jc warburton 09, Nikon D90,Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3.5 – 5.6 VR lens.
