A little red ant having a good old time rolling around in the pollen, he seemed a bit perturbed at my lens following him all around though.

Taken on Scenic Drive. Carmel, California. November, 2007. There’s an interesting story behind this photograph, and #244, “Scenic & 8th. I was in a local camera store in Carmel, the manager of the store was telling me my camera was a toy because it wasn’t a high priced SLR, like he seels in the store. Obviously this annoyed me because i knew what my camera was capable of doing. So I left the store, walked down toward the beach, saw these Cypress trees, and took these shots in about five minutes. / I then walked back up to the camera store, and showed them to the manager, and the staff. They were impressed with the quality of the images. / I love my camera! I’m using the Panasonic Lumix FZ-50 That is what I used to take almost all the photographs in my portfolio. I’m satisfied with the performance of that camera. The images speak for themselves.

Photo taken in Maandowie Bush Reserve, Loftus, NSW, Australia In 2002/2003 this plant was discovered in Maandowie Bushland Reserve, Loftus, NSW, Australia during bush regeneration activities. Formal identification was not done due to the regeneration work load. In 2004 it was found growing in the Menai area, about 5 kilometers from Maandowie. It was sent for formal identification and was confirmed to be a hitherto unknown species of Hibbertia. There are about 60 known specimens growing in the Menai area and 90 in Maandowie. Due to its limited range and the small number of plants it has officially been classified as rare and endangered by the NSW government.
Photo taken late afternoon as the sun was setting… hence the sunset shadows. Here’s my boy Kane doing what he loves most!! Skateboarding is almost an obsession for him. He skates at least 4 times a week either at the local school or at the local bowl with his Daddy (his Daddy is right back into Skateboarding after 15 years). At just 4 he can already push off and confidently ride a skateboard. And loves his Daddy to swing him from side to side standing on the deck inside the big skate bowls. / Quite Adorable. ◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘ Featured In Children Power of Raw Emotion Group / Featured in Colour Me A Rainbow Group / Featured in First Things Group / Featured in Outsiders Group / Featured in Family Unlimited Group FOURTH IN THE CHILDREN POWER OF RAW EMOTION CHALLENGE / .
