To give an indication of the sheer size and scale of this cloud mass, on the bottom right of this image there are some full-sized pine trees and that small white dot next to them is a huge lighthouse sitting on the end of an island. . . Digital Camera
Taken in the bush near Alice Springs. Waiting for the sun to come up and saw this dead tree and just had to take a shot with all the colours behind it.
Ok, so this isn’t official, just a bit of fun on my part ;) I’m a MASSIVE Storm Thorgerson fan, the guy is my hero. / Look him up, you’ll understand. / stormthorgerson.com This is actually an image that will be used in David Lampard’s production of ‘Elegies: A Song Cycle’.. well, the balloons that is. The pig I added purely because I thought it smacked of Floyd, and it just had to be done. So here, just for you guys, is the silly version. The real pig-less version can be seen on my dA account here And if you’re interested in getting tickets to the production, please follow that link to the deviantART version as all the info is listed there. Digital composite of several shots taken at the same time as the balloons were released. Took a bloody long time to edit, but there are no repeats and it’s all my own work, save for the pig ;) Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas Oh and Mr Gilmour, if you’re watching, my rates are verrrrrry reasonable ;)

Photograph of my storm chasing mate Paul Natale out near Koorda in Western Australia on the 2nd February 2008. Taken during an awesome storm chase out in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia, 700kms, over 7hrs of continous lightning including about 30mins of strobe lightning (ie. almost constant) and some severe storms. For more shots taken by Paul see here: http://paulnatale.com.au For more information about weather in Perth and WA, see the WA Weathergroup Forum: http://waweathergroup.com/forum/

Storm clouds gather over northern Johannesburg, South Africa. 13 November 2006.
Photographer surrounded by a whirlwind of people at a set of escalators. Long exposure (1/2s) showing motion. Shot handheld; I love image stabilization. :-)
Another shot taken from the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, bugger me it’s scary up there, but what a view. WOW! / Melbourne was named the Sporting capital of the World not long ago, it’s been the sporting capital of Australia for some time now. The other States hate us because we have it all here. To the left of the shot we have the Hollowed Turf, that’s the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). Below the MCG we have the Tennis Center, now known as The Rod Laver Arene. In the middle is The Vodafone Arena, now known as Hisense Arena. To the right of that is a new Arena getting built at the moment this will be the new home for The Melbourne Storm our Melbourne Rugby Team and also the new home of the Melbourne Victory our Melbourne Soccer Team. Below that is Olympic Park they used that for concerts and stuff until the Tennis center was built. That’s not all of them we have a few more, there is another big 50,000+ seat arena over at the Doclands. Where I took this shot from that’s behind me. Uploaded——8/12/09 Camera——Fuji Finepix s6500fd
Lightning Storm 85255 in North Scottsdale, Arizona
Driving home from a Photo shot in Burra South Australia, we came across a storm just outside of a little town called Eudunda and found from the road this old ruin in the Path of the storm and sat there and waited to get the perfect shot across the field! The Lightning show was amazing, this Lightning strike lite up the Canola Field you see in the foreground beyond the barbed wired fence and I was lucky enough to be in the right spot at the right time!
