Some might see the morning fog as a shroud of grey that settles in their soul and stays with them even when the sun breaks through to warm their skin. / Others see the fog as a beautiful mist that opens up to reveal the brightness of life and a reason to feel good about the outside…on the inside. / by Annette Hansen / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Taken at Gympie, Queensland Thank you to RedBubble for featuring Veil of Mystery on the 29th December and the Trees Group for making it part of their June Gallery.

This has all the things wrong with it…lens flare being the major problem, but it illustrates why I ended up so so wet….they sneak up when you’re looking through the viewfinder. scream up the beach at a hundred miles an hour and slap you across the back….. You can also see the way the sky changed….Dicky dawn was shot before the sun came up, and those dark clouds were behind us….they moved over quite quickly as the sun rose. The swallow, bonny birdie, comes sharp twittering o’er the sea, And gladly is her carol heard for the sunny days to be; / She shares not with us wintry glooms, but yet, no faithless thing, / She hunts the summer o’er the earth with wearied little wing. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Australian Woodswallows
