I’m not good at graphics but this is how I view the world alot…not all the time but I feel as though we are all walking to the same beat of greed, power, lust etc…not all but alot. In this photo the rats are the preditors in our world. The circle is a small area of beautiful greatness. The gems in the center are the rare genuine people. The eye is me and how I view the whole thing.

Reeshofpark, Tilburg. A photography turned into a digital painting. Having my daughter just picked up from her school on one Friday in November 2007, we ran through the local park to be in time for her ballet class. We were nearly too late, because in the park I couldn’t leave this lovely autumn scene behind me without taking a camera out of the bag! / I love it in big format, so this is a procedure how to make a nice print out of a photograph taken by a simple 2MB digital compact: / - photograph a lovely scene (important!) / - upload the file into your computer / - use software wisely to improve it. / What I did with this one: / - first, in Picasa: Feelin’ lucky, color temperature, sharpen, glow, gradtint / - second, in GIMP: scale, oilify, add frame if desired I hope you will like the result as much as I do. Comments and critiques very welcome :)

Drusenfluh (2827 m) with its majestic rock formation called Drei Türme (Three Towers) is a mountain in the Montafon valley, located on the border between Austria and Switzerland. / The big tower and the middle tower can easily be ascended even in wintertime by skis, the little tower is for climbers only with a very short climbing passage. It’s recommended to make them all three at once! (I haven’t, my children are still too small for it…) / (source: Wikipedia + Peakware World Mountain Encyclopedia) Canon EOS 300X, Sigma 28-135. Original film photography, minimal processing (auto levels, sharpening). No change of color, the blue tones are due to heavy overcast. Such a rainy day…
